Fall Haul: Joe Fresh, H&M, Target + Walmart

I have been slacking on sharing my recent purchases for Peyton.  I've been picking up items for the last month for back to school and her fall wardrobe.  Sadly, this is not all of it, just what I can remember.  Some items get hung, some get put in a drawer and some stay in the bag.  Yes, I'm a shopaholic!

Weekend Style: Fall Tea Collection

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Did you guys catch the MTV music awards last night?  Lawd... The Good: Justin Timberlake was incredible!  I think I love him! The Bad: What was up with Kanye and the shadow performance?  Twitter cursed Kim K out for tweeting Kanye had the best performance of the night.  The Ugly: Miley Cyrus.  I don't even know where to start.  She ruined Robin Thicke's performance.  Why did they put them together?  IDK.  

Fall is fast approaching and I'm itching to get Peyton is her new cute fall Tea Collection pieces.  Tea Collection is a must have for every kids wardrobe.  Their global inspired children's fashions stand out and stand the test of time.  The collections are so interchangeable.  With a few key pieces, you can make outfits for days!

Back to School in H&M

More kids are heading back to school this week.  I'm still scouting the new fall items from some of my favorite places to shop for Peyton.  H&M is always at the top of my list on places to shop when seasons change.  I've already picked up several items in stores and online.

Happy Friday!  This weeks Style Me Friday look features a button down.  I'm a huge fan of a button down (besides ironing them).  They make you look as though you attempted to get dressed.  I have been rocking them all summer.  I took a super casual approach with my look this week and included a snapback!

Jeffrey Fashion Cares annual fundraiser is the pinnacle fashion event in Atlanta.  This annual fashion event benefits the Atlanta Aids fund and Susan G. Weekend Style: Mean Girl

Whelp, it's Monday.  I hope this week flies buy because I need another weekend asap.  I don't know if it's the terrible 3's but Peyton has been mean, mainly to adults.  She is not mean 100% of the time but enough, for me to be like "Pump the breaks P"!  Once I stop her in her tracks and put her in time out she turns on the sweetness!  Smiling and saying "I love you Mommy!  Your the best ever!". Back to School in GAP

Today was Peyton's first day of preschool!  She was pretty upset to leave her old teachers.  from her half day toddler preschool class.  I normally picked her up everyday during my lunch but know she will be there all day.  I don't know what I am going to do with having my lunch hour too myself!  I was like a lost puppy at lunch, contemplating going to her school....I didn't. 

Baby Gap is another one of my go to spots when the seasons change.  I'm loving the brights in their fall looks.  Here are some of my top picks.

Happy Friday! Last weekend before Peyton starts pre-school!  In addition to hosting an event tomorrow, I need to get her a few things so she can be ready for school.  She doesn't want to leave her teachers from last year so this may be a challenge.  Hopefully a new pair of shoes will be the cure.

Blogging Tips: How to Get on "The List" #BlogHer13

Before starting this blog I had no idea on what went on in this corner of the internet world.  Now I'm hosting events, doing sponsored post and headed to blog conferences.  Who would have thunk it!  Just like doing anything you love, you have to keep learning.  To learn more in this blogosphere world you may need to attend a conference or two.  Every conference is different so before you go you have to sit down and think of why you are going.  It could be to attend workshops, meet online friend in person, network with brands, attend parties, meet like minded people or to just get a few days away from the kids!  All of these are very good reasons to go.  Since BlogHer was in my hometown of Chicago that was more than enough reason for me to go.  I'm also a very social person and I love the opportunity to meet new people.

What I Wore #BlogHer13
