21st Jeffrey Fashion Cares

The 21st Jeffrey Fashion Cares took over  lobby of the American Cancer Society Center in Downtown Atlanta.  Jeffrey Fashion Cares is the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country and the one of Atlanta's most coveted fashion events!  The event was filled with fashionable Atlanta socialites, stars from Married to Medicine, Big Rich Atlanta and the Atlanta Housewives.

Fashion Uncorked for Easter Seals February 9th

I wanted to let you guys know about Fashion Uncorked!  Fashion Uncorked is a fashion show competition that benefits Easter Seals of North Georgia.  I attended the show last year and it was pretty awesome!  Fashion Uncorked takes place February, 9th at America's Mart.

Laundry by Shelli Segal Spring/Summer Preview

Yes Ladies!  It is time to start thinking about Spring and Summer!!!  That is Cray!  I caught a sneak peeks of some of the Laundry by Shelli Segal Spring dresses in the Nordstrom catalog and I wanted to see more!  I have been a longtime fan of Laundry, rocking it across the stage at my college graduation!  You can also check me out  recently wearing a piece HERE.  So I was super pumped to host an intimate preview for the Laundry by Shelli Segal Spring and Summer collection in there Atlanta Showroom during Apparel Mart.  Apparel Mart is when all the regional store/boutique buyers head to Atlanta to check out what is hot for the Spring and Summer in designers showrooms.

It's almost here!  The Center for Black Women's Wellness Family Health and Beauty Expo is this Saturday in Atlanta!  I will be hosting the Mommy & Kids Fashion show during the event!  

Shop a Bloggers Closet Recap

If you did make it out to the Shop a Bloggers Closet Sale hosted by this past Saturday you missed out!  There was tons of awesome items looking for a new home!  About 40% of the items I brought to the sale still had tags on it!  Cray!

Shop for Success

Have you ever seen a women in a professional environment and thought to yourself or out loud, what is she wearing?  Be honest!  We judge but we don't know the story behind what she is wearing.  Did you ever think she may have had to runaway from an abusive relationship and only could grab a bag of clothes?  Lost everything in a fire or natural disaster?  She grew up on the streets and doesn't know any better but she wants to make a change? Thank God for Dress for Success! 

Dress for Success is a non-profit that helps women prepare for new careers by providing them with interview coaching, suiting, and help build confidence!  Dress for Success Atlanta is hosting an awesome VIP shopping event, Shop for Success on October 5!  All proceeds from the event will benefit Dress for Success Atlanta.

I don't know if you noticed but I have not been out to with any of my Bloggy Peeps in a while, besides NYFW!  Mister and I have been rolling out lately.  But I was super excited to head out for a girls night out to Pretty City's Live Beautifully Event in Atlanta at Tongue & Groove! This event celebrates adding beauty to our everyday lives.  Pretty City showcases new brands and products and  local businesses like, hair, nails & make-up offering complimentary service during the event! 

Runway Red 2012 Celebrity Kids Fashion Show

Last Saturday I attended the Runway Red Kids Fashion Show benefiting Show Me the Way Foundation at the Atlanta Zoo.  Show Me The Way helps to support kids that are infected/ affected by HIV/AIDS.  The Runway Red show features local celebrity kids working the runway!

Sunday evening was Atlanta Style Bloggers Night Out at the Ballet!  First we boozed at the Artmore Hotel then headed over to the Alliance Theater for the New Choreographic Voice ballet.

Neiman Marcus & Baby Shopaholic Presents...Part 1

You ladies are not going to believe this!  I can't believe it!  On Thursday I hosted a Spring Summer Trend Presentation at Neiman Marcus!  Yes, the greatest place on Earth!  I am so honored that they allowed me to host this amazing event!  I got to bring out all the fashionable ladies of Atlanta for an intimate presentation for all budgets by Style Advisor for Neiman Marcus, Dave Ferguson! All the photos are courtesy of N² Photography.

 You know I had to pose by this sign in the store!  I look calm but I almost wet my pants!  I am wearing a white Rachel Zoe Camillia ruffle sleeve blouse with Naven hot pink high waist shorts from Neiman Marcus.  Bracelets are Prada.  Shoes are from Bebe... BANANAS!  Make was done by J Mont Studio's.  Hair by my stylist Kara who came out to support.

 The event was held in the newly renovated Cusp department of Neiman Marcus.  Neimans kept the food and drinks flowing as everyone mingled before the presentation.

I was super nervous leading up to the event!  I felt like I was getting married.  But I don't know why I was tripping because Neiman's does everything top notch and they did not disappoint for this event!   Huge thanks to Rebecca and Dave of Neimans for all your hard work for this event!  Cross your fingers that they invite us back for the fall!!!!!!!!!!

Madewell Style Challenge Part 2

Happy Friday!  I shared with you guys earlier this week that I attended Mattiologie's Madewell Denimthon Challenge!  Click HERE for recap.

The challenge was that 10 style bloggers had 1 minute (yes 60 seconds) to create a look based on the scenario that Mattie gave us! Then 3 minutes to put on the outfit.  There were eliminations after each round.

Round 1: Daytime date look.  Here is mine.  I am planning to go back and get the complete outfit!  I am still thinking about this top!  I advanced to round 2!

Round 2: Androgynous Look.  What do you think?  That bright orange blazer is all that!  I made it to the third round!

Round 3:  Girls Night Out.  Sorry but I don't have any pictures of this round : (

Kristen and I waited while the judges deliberated!  A $50 gift card and exclusive Madewell OPI polish called "Made to Order" was at stake!  Also an opportunity to style a mannequin for the window!  And the Winner is......

Not Me! LOL!  I was happy to have made it to the final round!  Congrats to Kristen for the big win!  After trying on the clothes I am truly hooked on Madewell!  I felt like all the clothes fit me great!  Which outfit from the challenge is your favorite?

Madewell Challenge Event

If you can believe this, I have never shopped at Madewell!  I know I know!  Everyone raves about their denim!  Sunday I attended a Madewell Denimthon hosted by Mattie from Mattieologie.  At the event the Atlanta Style Bloggers got to compete in a style challenge!

So the fun and games are over!  Time to compete!  We had ONE minute to pull outfits based on the scenarios given.  Who can shop in one minute... well I can, but still!  Once you pulled the outfit you had to dress yourself in THREE minutes!  Bloggers were eliminated after each round.  Since I was participating I need to collect some photos so that post is coming soon!
