Mister's birthday party came and went.  We had such a fabulous time, our friends and family are still talking about it.  I called myself planning early so I wouldn't be overwhelmed.  #WRONG.  A few weeks before the party I started to freak out and have nightmares that people would show up and I would have a bonnet on my head, wearing ratty sweats and a t-shirt.  I started venting on twitter.  After my rant, I got an email from Hester, the owner of Park Avenue Events saying she would like to help me out with the event I was planning.  Look at Gawd! 

Early 60's Birthday Party

I hope you all had a great weekend.  I'm switching things up a bit today.  Instead of Peyton doing her thang, you're getting the whole Baby Shopaholic family today.  Mister's big birthday party was almost 2 weeks ago and I'm still tired.  The party started out with a Mad Men theme but I was afraid it would get to corny and went with an early 60's theme instead.

I still don't believe it's June already and Father's Day is next week!  Father's Day has crept up on me.  Why is it so tough to shop for men?  I really feel they don't care what you get them as long as you let them play golf that day.  Any who... Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads out there!  We are truly blessed to have a father as wonderful as Mister!  Peyton adores him and has him wrapped around her little finger!

Father's Day is this Sunday!  Man, it snuck up on me!  I always wait to the last minute to find gifts.  Time to battle the task of what to get Mister!  Here are a few things that I think he may like (or want him to have).

Weekend Style: Daddy's Day

I hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day!  We had a nice one.  We kicked it off with breakfast on Sunday morning.  I was able to snap these cute pictures after breakfast.

Big Happy Father's Day to Peyton's Daddy!

Peyton and I are so blessed to have Mister!  He enjoys spending time with Peyton.  Mister is a great father and Peyton loves him to bits!  She is always talking about her Daddy! 

I shared with you guys last year that I never had a relationship with my dad, so this is my first experience seeing what a father really is.  He take her to get ice cream, play basketball, to the park, he combs her hair and lets her comb his hair.  I never did one of those things with my dad.  That stuff just melts my heart!  Thank you Mister for being an awesome Father!  We love you!

HELP! Father's Day Gifts

I am horrible at coming up with gifts!  I am easy to buy for, you could give me one Gucci sock, I will love it! 

I never know what to get Mister for Birthday's or Christmas, let alone Father's Day.  Last year Mister said I got the list all wrong that I posted.    Here are some items I think he may enjoy this year.

4 Years Ago

I married my best friend and the love of my life!  I am blessed to have such a loving and supportive husband!  I love the father that he is to Peyton!  I never had that as a child and I almost come to tears watching them play together.

I can't believe that it has been 4 years!  Time flies when your having fun!

No marriage is perfect but here are a few things that I have learned over the years...

• Don't try and fight every battle.
• Be your husbands biggest cheerleader!
• Hide shopping bags in the truck a few days to avoid confrontation : )
• When he finds the bags, just tell him how much you saved! "Honey, I got $150 pair of shoes for $40"
• Take care of business in the bedroom : ), 

We have no big plans to celebrate since I have been out of town.  I would just love to just spend some one on one time and EAT!

Daddy Weekend Style

While I was in Washington D.C. for Blogalicious, Mister was in charge of Peyton style post.

Mister dressed Peyton in this cream peasant top from Zara, $20.  She is wearing dark boot-cut Old Navy jeans $10.  Shoes from Target.  Peyton has a look on her face like she wants to say "Daddy, you know mommy would not want me wearing these shoes with this top".  I think Mister strategy is just to grab something with tags on it. Mister also did her hair.  A little uneven but he tried!

I love peasant tops!  They work all year and hide the tummy! Do you own a peasant top?

I Didn't Forget... Happy Birthday Mister!

So... not only did I have Peyton's Birthday going this weekend, Now today is Mister's Birthday!  We surprised him with a cake after we served Peyton's cake at the party. 

I like to call Mister Benjamin Button!  He seems to be going backwards in time.

I am King Cologne - I know people get tired of Diddy aka Mr. Swag aka Puffy...  but his colognes really smell good!  I think they are geared towards what women like.  Very light sent.  Plus it says King!  What man doesn't like to be called King!

A day of golf!  Need I say more!

Daddy's have some fashion love to give too. Sometimes, for his little girl its something fun like a pair of capri's, my personal favorite little lady wear. I was at Marshall's one day, dipped into the baby section and found these...

Yeah baby! Now, since my wife has fashion magazines all over the house, I cannot help but look and see all of the styles that look like a million. Well when I saw this white dress that looked like it could be one of those Vera Wing or Von Ves don berg, oh whatever...... I love this white dress for Peyton....

And finally, because my child is off the chart with her height, I mean literally the chart used for measuring baby's growth rate is 1 to 100%, Peyton is +100% and just growing too fast. So of course she needs more jeans and thought these would serve well when we go get some ice cream for just the two of us. Gotta go...
