Happy Mamanista Friday!  Can you believe September is in a week?!!  I'm so ready for fall fashion!  Too bad it's still crazy hot.   I hate dressing this time of the year.  You don't want to look too summery, but it's too hot to wear jackets in the day time.  Just a heads up, I will be rushing in fall fashions.  I kinda did for this weeks global inspired look for Mamanista Friday.

I hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July!  My week has been super crazy!  I'm currently blogging from Chicago.  My first cousin George passed away last week and I had to come to Chicago for the funeral : (.  I will back in Atlanta in time for Peyton's Birthday party.  Y'all know last minute plane tickets are crazy expensive so I did not bring Peyton with me.  I miss her so much but she is having fun with Daddy! Sorry to be a Debbi Downer on a Friday.  Before leaving for the airport I did squeeze in a few pictures for this weeks Style Me Friday with Fashionista Next Door.  This weeks look features a maxi dress.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Mine was pretty busy as I prepare to head to NYC for BlogHer this week!  Just a few more days!

Sunday, I was super honored to be a judge in for the Yummy Spoonfuls next Yummy Baby competition.  My ovaries went into to overdrive seeing all these cute babies!  I brought Mister and Peyton along!  I will recap all the cuteness soon!

Macy's Brasil : A Magical Journey

Macy's is taking us on a trip to Brasil!  They recently launched Brasil, women, men, home and beauty items inspired by Brasil (Brazil).

You have to head to Macy's stores and online because the clothing is just as HOT as the country!  Just in time for summer!

Out of these I like the first dress the best.... But... I think it may be made for a "skinny" girl.  I am thinking that the little rosy things will make me look bigger/wider.  Hopefully they have it in the store so I can try it on.  The 2nd place dress, which I love I am starting to think it may be too low cut.  I have some big girls and a tat on my chest.  I would be looking like I am going to the VMAs!

Aisha from Hartlyn Kids suggested Rent the Runway!  Why didn't I think of that!  I already have an account and everything but have never purchased rented.  Basically you can rent designer dresses for close to 10% of the retail price!  Should I be paying $500 for a dress that I am going to probably wear once?  So here are some of my picks from the site.

Help Mama Pick a Dress: Movie Premier

I need your help!  Mister has produced his first movie!  I am so proud of him!  Please check out the short trailer below.

The movie is going to premier at the fabulous Fox Theater in Atlanta in less then two weeks!  So that means walking the red carpet!  So I need to shut it down!  Since it is a christian film I can wear anything too too sexy, like low back, high slit, etc. That would be a whole other movie!  Here are some dresses that I thought may fit the event.

I recently made the switch from MAC Cosmetics to NARS and I am in love! I at least feel like I look better, who knows if it is actually true. My makeup looks much more natural and stays on much longer. Revamping your makeup every once in a while can never hurt!

I'm always looking for ways to keep me excited and engaged with working out. Lord knows how difficult it is to keep me entertained when it comes to this department. I have fallen hard for Crossfit! It's the latest rage and turning people like me into fanatics across the country!

The principle behind Crossfit is "constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement". The best part is...it makes quick changes to your body without making you look like a body builder and I'm working harder than I ever knew was possible! Love, love, love! There are local affiliates everywhere, so you can hop online and search for one near you!

Celebrities like Malin Ackerman, Matt Damon, Madonna and Jessica Biel are all drinking the Crossfit Kool Aid!

Saturday morning we started at the pool.

Peyton is sporting a Baby Gap floral bikini that was $13.

After having a ball in the pool she lounged in this Gap cover up that we got at a consignment store for $2. 

Sunday we headed down to the Atlanta Jazz Fest to meet up with Mimi from Lipgloss and Binky.

She is rocking a Maxi dress from H&M that was $5!!!  Shoes are from Payless.  Too bad she lost one at the fest.

Maxi dresses are still going strong this summer! Better get you one!
