We Sing for Diapers

On Wednesday night social media PR firm, Everywhere hosted a karaoke diaper drive for Atlanta Diaper Relief at Nancy's Pizza (best pizza in Atlanta) in Buckhead.  To say we had fun is an understatement!

With Danica from Everywhere and Kia Smith, founder of Atlanta Diaper Relief.

Mimi from Lipgloss and Binky, Tiffani editor of Tastemaker Magazine, Mary from Haute Totti.

Part of the Everywhere team with Kia.
The place was packed!  Drinks were flowing courtesy of Ciroc! Thanks Diddy!

Britton with Everyone got the party started singing "I Love Rock n Roll".  She definitely got the crowd hype!

Tiffani got up and showed us her vocal skills.
With one drink down I was brave enough to go!  Mimi and I rocked the crowd sing to "Poison" by BBD.  Why am I holding the mic like that???  I think that was my "I Love You New York" ending!  But we SHUT IT DOWN!  LOL!

Eboni from Fashionista Next Door and Lisa from LC Writes.

How awesome is this diaper cake and wipes!

The night was a total success for Atlanta Diaper Relief

I wore an Apt. 9 top from Kohl's, $4 on an extra clearance sale!  Jeans are from Marshalls, $17.  Necklace from Versona.  Shoes are the Phebe from Sole Society.
These may be one of my favorite shoes for the spring so far!  So comfy!

I will leave you guys with some fun videos of the night!  Catch my self directed video of myself towards the end of video.

Attention Atlanta Moms:  Mimi and I are hosting a diaper drive soon for Atlanta Diaper Relief.  You can bring the kids!  Please email me thebabyshopaholic @ gmail  for details!

Recent Shopping Spree

So I have failed at this no shopping thing for myself.  I already told you how I broke down day two and purchased some accessories.  Then the next week I went to the mall to check out the Macy's Prom event and ended up in Forever 21!  Then Rachel Roy had an additional 30% off sale!  I have not stopped since!  I really have a problem!  But the blog is called Baby Shopaholic so please check out what I got for Peyton recently.

I got this cute Little Trendstar top for Peyton from Open Sky, it was $12 and I had $8 a credit.  I did get a skirt for myself, but lets just say I paid $4!

Found this cute headband is from Kahyoot for $6.  I may have to borrow it from Peyton : )

I received a Klout.com perks for Gilt Groupe!  I was able to get 60% off!  Word!  So I got Peyton these cute Joe's Jeans shorts!

Cute blouse by Lola et Moi from Gilt.  She should be able to wear this spring and in the fall if she doesn't get to big.
Cardigan by Imoga from Gilt.com.  It is too cute!  It has a gold shimmer detail, not sure if you can see it in the picture.
I stocked up on some headbands from Forever 21.  They were $1.50 each!  See Peyton rocking the yellow one here.

Where have you been finding good deals lately?

Cute Girl! Ok Style

So yesterday I was featured on this awesome fashion super blog, Fashion Bomb.  This site serves up fierce fashion and beauty post.  I was the Fashion Bombshell of the Day!   I am sure they get a ton of entries so I was honored to be chosen.  Click HERE to check out the post.

So they post a few pictures of you and let the readers vote on your style!  Right!  Who would subject themselves to the torture!  I thought well I am putting myself out there on this blog might is well show more people : )

Boy did they go in!  Which was expected.  I know I don't dress like Rhianna or Nicki Minaj, I am a mommy fashion blogger.  I may not be as "urban" as previous bombshells but I have style.  Here are some of the best hater comments:

"She looks pregnant in that dress" -  Duh!!! That's why I had on a loose dress!
"Her shoe game is boring" - I beg to differ!  You need to click HERE!
"Yawn" - LOL!  Ok
"Those shoes are Hideous" - Dayam!  Hideous?  Such a strong word!  I did LOL at it!  They must be rocking the whole Spring collection of Christian Louboutins!"

Good thing I have a lot of confidence cuz these folks could make you want to get on a ledge!

I did get a TON of great, sweet and positive comments!  I love my readers, followers and bloggy BFFs for all their love and support.  Not that I need to be validated but I hope some fashionistas found another blog to relate too!  I thought you guys would enjoy a recap!

Got Fashion Bomb Daily to see the post.  I would love it if you vote Bombshell!

Mama Loves Prada Flame

I know some folks are on the fence or think these Prada shoes are over the top.  I don't care what anyone says, I love this Prada Flame shoe line!

This line is one of the most creative and wearable shoe line I have seen in a while.  What do you think? Would you rock them? Like if they were 75% off?

Playtime with Mommy Talk Show and Hippo Hopp

I mentioned yesterday that we headed out early for a taping for Mommy Talk Show at Hippo Hopp, an indoor playground.  Mommy Talk Show showcases Mommy Business owners in the Atlanta area.

Here I am with Joyce Brewer founder of Mommy Talk Show and Author of  Use What You Know: Business Idea Guide for Moms.

I really liked Hippo Hopp.  I loved that it was in one open space.  You didn't have to go around corners or go in different rooms to find your child.  I also loved that they had toy and play areas for crawlers and infants to play.  As you can see from the last to pictures my baby thinks she is a big girl and went up and down this slide about 10 times!  Please don't think I am a bad mom because my baby went all the up on this big slide by herself.  Peyton is fearless and strong!  I got over holding her back because she would do it anyway.  Check out this video.

This baby can go!  I think I found a place for Peyton's 2nd Birthday party.  Do you take your kids to indoor playgrounds?

Money Aint a Thing: Versace

Happy Friday!  It's officially Spring!  I know this because I can stop sneezing and my car is green (covered in pollen).  Even Peyton has the sniffles due to all this pollen.  But the great thing about Spring are the fresh fashions!  Check out these incredible items from Versace kids line.

I would die to have this dress in my size!  But for $304 I don't think I will ever own it either!

 Cute tank for $235
How awesome are these sequin flare pants!  Only $288.
As an adult I would sport this shirt!  Little Boys Versace Tee, $235.

Little boy blue skinny pants, $252.

So one of these awesome little outfits will set you back about $500!  And you still need to get shoes! What do you think about this Versace Spring line for kids?

The Hair Bow Company

Before Peyton was even born she had a drawer full of hair bows, headbands and hats.  So you know I was super excited to get a package from The Hair Bow Company.  The Hair Bow Company offers the hottest accessories for little girls at wholesale prices!

Peyton is modeling the Marabou hair clips.  I am in love with these hair clips!  I think it is because they are so unexpected with Peyton's puffs!

Peyton sported this leopard flower hair clip to church on Sunday.
The Hair Bow Company also carry the cutest legwarmers!  These are too cute with boots and also for newborns when they are crawling.  Throw on a onesie and some legwarmers, too cute!

Yes! They carry fairy wings!  Your not going to believe the price!!!  Great for birthday parties, dress up, and to just wear around the house.  Peyton did not want to take it off!  She wants to put it on everyday to read books.
The Hair Bow Company carries a variety of tutus for the princess in your life!

I thought these newborn shoes were too sweet!
I would have loved to have these bloomers for Peyton's 1st Birthday.

I love every item that The Hair Bow Company sent us.  The quality was great and you can't beat their prices.  I scoured Etsy shops to only find that practically the same items were sold for double or 3 times the amount.
Make sure you visit The Hair Bow Company at www.thehairbowcompany.com  or click the links.  They are offer Baby Shopaholic readers 10% off your entire order with the code "tbs10", valid through 4/30/12.
