Mamanista Fridays Link-Up: The Vest

I'm so ready for the weekend.  The last couple of weeks have been crazy busy.  I plan to catch up on some rest and get back on my diet.  Enough of my whining.  This week, Mama Fashion Files and I are wearing vests.  I wore this outfit to the Beyonce and Jay Z concert in Atlanta on Tuesday.

Yes Lawd!  I think my Beyonce crush meter just went up three levels!  This bob of hers gave me life!  After all the hoopla surrounding the short hair cut Beyonce instagramed a few weeks ago, she definitely took it to another level of flyness with this do last week!   

Style Me Friday: Button Down

Happy Friday!  This weeks Style Me Friday look features a button down.  I'm a huge fan of a button down (besides ironing them).  They make you look as though you attempted to get dressed.  I have been rocking them all summer.  I took a super casual approach with my look this week and included a snapback! 

Breaking News! Beyonce is Pregnant Again!

My favorite mom is pregnant with baby number two!  Congrats to her!

I know a few people are a little perturb about the announcement because they have tickets to her US shows this summer!  I don't have any tix so I'm good!  With the busy year she has planned I would have thought this news would have come after the tour.  I guess we need to wait for Life is But a Dream Part II!

We Can All Dress Like Beyonce!

It's here!  H+M has unveiled the complete collection with my girl Beyonce!  The first pictures released had me thinking I wasn't going to be able to support this collection since Bey was rocking a tiny winy bikini and booty shorts.  To my surprise, the collection has some Mama friendly pieces!   Now we all can dress like Beyonce! *does cartwheel*

Beyonce for H+M

As if I didn't have enough reasons to shop at H+M!  Beyonce is the new face for the summer campaign for H+M!

Not only is she the face, but she also had a hand in the design for the collection.  Not sure if that is a good or bad thing.  The collection is will hit stores in May!  I was a little a surprised that she partnered with H+M.  I think of her more as a Gucci or Chanel kinda lady.  But it is great that she is working with a brand that we all can obtain!  She should design a Blue Ivy collection for H&M!

Life is But a Dream - Beyonce!

Who watched Beyonce's documentary on HBO on Saturday?  The Oprah interview?  *Raises both hands*.  Do you know I had Mister add HBO to our package so I could watch it!  Peyton says "My Beyonce" and then asked me who Oprah was.  I had to school her real quick! LOL!  Since Beyonce has been so private I could not wait to see what she shared!

Hope you guys had a great Super Bowl weekend!  We had a busy Saturday, so we just chilled in the house for Super Bowl Sunday.

Happy Birthday Blue Ivy!

Has it been a year already?  The first Baby of Hip Hop turns 1 today!  Happy Birthday to this sweet baby girl!  I think Peyton's party invitation got lost in the mail... we'll catch up with them next year!

Baby Blue Spotted with Beyonce

I know it's been a while since I posted about Beyonce.  She has been out an about but Blue Ivy stays covered.  But it looks like someone caught Blue Ivy slipping!

Look at that baby doll!  She looks like she is ready to get into stuff!  Man she looks like Jay!

Beyonce is looking gorgeous at usual with the box braids.  I know everyone is rocking the box braids trends but I don't know if I am down with the Poetic Justice look.  But Bey does make me want to reconsider the look!  Fabulous!

Beyonce & Blue Ivy Out and About

Beyonce has been hitting the streets of NYC with baby Blue Ivy.  I am just in love with Mommy Beyonce!

She has definitely went in chill mom mode rocking this scully!  I like how she is doing it.

Can't wear a baby with 5 inch heels!  Bey is rocking the patterned pants with some flat oxfords.  I am slowly becoming a fan of oxfords.

Bey rocking a bun.  The high bun is a must for all moms.  It adds a little bit of glam and quick to do.  You know I am a bun Super Fan!

Flats again!  Love this monochromatic pale pink outfit.

Loves it!  I just love that she is a baby wearer and taking Blue Ivy everywhere with her. I am kind of surprised that she is being spotted out and about this much with baby. 

What we can learn from Beyonce's Mama style:

• Low maintenance hair style like a bun or a cute pony tail
• Keep a cute hat on deck!  If you have to get out the house fast just grab and go!
• Flats!  Beyonce can tear up the stage in 5 inch platform shoe for 2 hrs but she sure isn't wearing them with baby Blue!
• Stunner Shades!  Instead taking time to pack on concealer you can put on some cute shades.

Blue Ivy Carter Pictures Released

I may be a day late but the photo's of Beyonce and Jay Z baby Blue Ivy Carter have been released.  She is a doll just like we knew she would be!

Baby looks like she is doing the Put a Ring on It hand.

She is a doll baby!  She looks like Beyonce but you can tell that is Jay's baby!  Congrats again to them both.

Oh, did you see the new mother just one month after giving birth! 

Did we expect anything less!  Looks like she is ready to pump! LOL!

Beyonce's Baby is Here!

Beyonce delivered a baby girl on Saturday night!  Congrats to the new Mom and Dad!  Her name is Blue Ivy Carter!

Can't wait to see this babies style!  I know it's going to be FIERCE!

Beyonce Baby Bump Style

Beyonce is looking fab in the home stretch of her pregnancy.  I don't know how she does it!  I was somewhere laying on the couch after 7 months!  Word on the internet streets is that she is due around Christmas time.

Beyonce Baby Bump Update

I think it has been confirmed that Beyonce is due late February.  So that makes her about  6/7 months.  These images are from October.

I am tripping on all these rumors that she has a fake bump all because her dressed drooped.  I posted pics of her in a bikini. She is still holding it down and looking fabulous! Word on the internet streets is that she may be working on a maternity line!  If this line is as hot as the stuff she is rocking I may have to get preggers again to rock it!  SIKE!  LOL.

Were you able to wear heels when you were preggers?  My elephant feet kicked in at 4 months!

Beyonce Pulse Baby Bump Style

Last week, the HOT Mama to be was out and about promoting her new fragrance Pulse.  I actually got sprayed with it by the perfume lady at Macy's and it wasn't to bad.

She said now that she is preggers, she can not stand the smell of Jay Z cologne.  I wonder how she feels about her perfume : )

Warning!  I may become slightly obsessed with this future mama to be.  I thought it would be fun to keep up with her style.

My stomach looks bigger then that after breakfast!



I think her preggers announcement at the VMA's will go down in history!  I love that she was able to tell her fans herself and Jay-Z reaction was so beautiful, proud and loving.
