Fly Babies of 2010

It's the end of the year and I must say it has been a year of changes for Peyton's Mom! I want to take a look back at the stylish cuties of 2010.  Here is the list:

10. P Diddys twins (BOGO!) D’Lila Star and Jessie James

 9. Violet Nash, Christina Milian and The Dreams baby.

8. Zuma Rossdale, Gwen Stephani little boy.

 7. Zahara Jolie Pitt, Angelina Jolie daughter.  Shiloh is not included cuz I am not sure how I feel about her dressing like a little boy at such a young age.... 'side eye'

6. Nahla Aubry, Halle Berrys daughter.

5. Harlow Madden, Nicole Richie's daughter.

4. Honor Warren, Jessica Alba's baby girl.

The Top 3!
 3. Mason Disick - Kourtney Kardashians baby.  This little boy has so much swag!

2. Suri Cruise  - I am on the fence about little girls wearing heels....

   1. Peyton Renee!  This little baby is taking the fashion industry by storm.  She is the one to watch 2011!

Have a safe and Happy New Year!  I pray that God continues to bless you and your family and keep you healthy for the New Year!

Wish List

We luv winter gear but not the weather! Peyton only has one cute winter hat so I feel she needs more!  She has her eye on this adorable trapper hat by Patagonia
Since we are in the ATL, not sure how much more cold weather we will be having so we are debating if it is worth paying $35 for a hat she may only wear a month.  So we will be stalking this hat and waiting for a mark down so we can justify buying it J… Please pray for us!

Neimans Score!

I think Peyton was all smiles heading into Neiman Marcus because she had a good feeling about what she was going to find at Neimans.  First we went to the new department that Neimans has called Cusp.  It's like a juniors dept for Neimans even though a junior still could not afford it, but it is more reasonably price then other departments. Well Mama found these...
The brand is Seychelles, they were originally $120 which is still cheap for Neimans and I got them for $50!  Did you ever think you could get out of Neimans with $50 shoes? Not including slippers.

Then we headed up to the children's department.  They had a clearance rack for baby clothes with an additional 30% off of the mark down. We found these two shirts.

I asked Peyton to pick one and she could not decide. So she ended up with both.  You know I have a weakness for babies in Burberry!  I paid $20 for each shirt, they were originally $50 and $70!  Neimans usually keeps marking them down until they bring out their spring stuff so to find deals like this or even better check on line or head to the stores.

Weekend Style Part 2

On Sunday Peyton and I decided to hit the street to see what deals we could find.  I usually score big at Neiman Marcus right after Christmas.  Soon as we hit the door Peyton was all smiles.

For our shopping trip Peyton wore this H&M fur (faux) vest from H&M that was a gift, Old Navy skinny jeans and body suit that was around $2.

Peyton is right on que with the trends.  In a previous post I talked about a vest from the Gap that I wanted to get for Peyton but I remembered she had this one. These divas are rocking the fur vest. I need to get me one!

I will update you later on the deals we found!

Christmas Style

We hope everyone had a great Christmas weekend! Peyton has a great first Christmas.  She would start to unwrap her presents but the paper just ended up in her mouth.

Let's start with Friday.  Peyton went with Daddy so she could get some Christmas shopping done.  Since it was Christmas Eve she kept it festive in this red sweater with a little doggie on it.  I lover this sweater!

Peyton got this sweater from Target for $8.  The black skinny pants are from Walmart for $3.50!

For Christmas dinner at Grandmas Peyton shut it down with this grey and black sweater dress from Baby Gap.  This dress is from the Bleaker collection, its has a big collar with buttons. I actually caught it when it was on clearance for $20, org. $40.  The black tights were $3 from Target. Sorry for the bad pictures, they are from my camera phone.

Peyton is looking like a little Halle Berry in dress.

Only in Atlanta!

Money Aint a Thang!

It's cold outside and Peyton needs to stay warm.  I came across this down coat for baby.
But guess what? its $425!  Are you serious??? I guess Moncler is!  If you in the market for this coat you can pick it up at your local Bergdorf or Barneys! I am sure Peyton will be just fine in her $5 puff jacket I found at BRU (babies r us)!

The Simmons girls are rocking theirs this winter. Can you imagine how much an adult coat cost? Yeah... they start at around $1200.  These things most be bullet proof or something.

Mamanista Christmas Wishlist

Christmas is so not about me anymore but I can dream.....

Number one on my list would be this vintage boston Gucci bag.  I have been wanting this style of bag for years!
Its $995 from Gucci.  It has a long strap and I figure I could put it across my body while I handle Peyton.

I would love an Ipod Touch.  I need a new Ipod so I figure why not this.  I can get some cool apps and have some music for when I start workout.  Cost about $200 or less depending on the generation.
This lipgloss is so cool.  6 colors in one!  better than caring a bunch of different tubes.  This is $10 from Sephora.

And finally a pedicure!  This also includes someone watching Peyton while I go.  I loved pedicures while I was preggers.  Only had one since then : (

I hope every one has a great Holiday Season!

Wish List : Chucks

I plan on stepping up Peytons shoe game since she will begin to try and stand up and walk.  I have been looking for some cute resonably priced shoes. I came across these classic Chuck Taylor Allstars from Kitson.
They are $29.  Not too bad... hopefully I will catch a sale or a coupon before I go to buy. The adult Chucks are around the same price... I don't get it.  I have a pair and they look really cute when you want to be casual but don't want to look like you just left the gym. This is a great mom shoe also.

Look at Rihanna rocking them.

A Corvette for Peyton

In the spirit of Christmas I thought I would look at what ballers may want to buy their children.  So guess what I found from Chasing Fireflies....

This car is off the hook! I can see Peyton rollin in it now!  I would put a little scarf on her head and get her some driving gloves : ) but it's $1500!  I don't even think my first car cost that much!   For that price I need to be rolling in it!  Shoot... I would anyway, the description says the seat is adjustable.  But you have to pedal it.. $1500 and doesn't even have a motor!

This is how you have to ride in this car.

Peyton Weekend Style

Peyton had an action packed Saturday.  We had to go see Santa, the mall and dinner with a close friend that is moving away : (.

To meet Santa Peyton wore a cream sweater dress from Old Navy.  I must say she was really owning this look!

I paid $10 for the dress when Old Navy had there big fall sale. The moccasins are also from Old Navy, I paid $7 for them using an online coupon.  The tights are from Walmart for $3.  I didn't know they charged so much for baby tights!  Other stores wanted $5 - $12 for baby tights.  Walmart has several colors and sizes for $3 each.
Peyton was stopping and talking to people that complimented her on her fit.  Below Christina Milian is wearing a cream sweater dress.  It actually looks like she is wearing Peytons!  LOL

After a late night on Saturday we finally made it out so Peyton channeled her inner Hip-Hop and wore this Hello Kitty puffer vest from H&M.

The vest was $14. The cardigan is from H&M also, it was a gift.  I got the Fuggs (fake uggs) from Burlington Coat factory for $6! She was not feeling like modeling at this time so that is why she has that look on her face.

Puff vest are a classic and have been hot for years in Hip Hop. I have been in a Hip Hop frame of mind this week cuz I went to see my favorite group in concert, Wu Tang! Peyton could have definitely rocked the stage with Wu with her look.

Mamanista Style for the Holidays

My life has changed dramatically since having Peyton.  During this time last year... or should I say the year before since I was preggers last year, I would be hitting the malls hard looking for something to wear to Christmas or Holiday party.  That's not happening this year.  I am not even in the mood to try and get glamourous, I got milk flowing everywhere and still sporting a bit of a baby bump : ).  But if something were to go down I thought this would be a perfect Mommanista Holiday outfit.

Dress is from LuLus for $48! Jewelry is from Forever 21.  Shoes are Guess from Nordstroms for $99. The whole look is under $200.  Throw on some Spanx, I"m ready to go!  If you have some metalic gold shoes of your own you'll only be out $60!  Too bad I can't fit any of my shoes since having the baby!

Here are some runner up dresses I like from LuLus.
