Labor Day Style

I hope you all had a great, long Labor Day weekend!  I spent mine chillin, which I haven't done in a long time.  We even opted to order out on Monday instead of grilling.  I'm slowly cleaning out Peyton's closet getting rid of small clothes and getting her fall clothes organized.  I came across so many items that she did not wear this summer with tags.  I figured this would be the perfect weekend for Peyton to sport these cute navy gingham shorts I bought in May. SMH.

Style Me Friday: Lace

Happy Friday! This Saturday I will be partying like it's 1999 with my BFF before she and her family relocate.  We have an action packed girls night planned.  I wonder how long we will last?  Anyway, this weeks Style Me Friday look features Lace!  Lace is so hot right now!  You can catch me wearing lace HERE and HERE. 

Beyonce for H+M

As if I didn't have enough reasons to shop at H+M!  Beyonce is the new face for the summer campaign for H+M!

Not only is she the face, but she also had a hand in the design for the collection.  Not sure if that is a good or bad thing.  The collection is will hit stores in May!  I was a little a surprised that she partnered with H+M.  I think of her more as a Gucci or Chanel kinda lady.  But it is great that she is working with a brand that we all can obtain!  She should design a Blue Ivy collection for H&M!

Style Me Friday: White Jeans

Happy Friday Ladies!  Weather is crazy in the A!  We had a few nice weekends now it's going to on the cold side this weekend.  My girl Eboni from Fashionista Next Door is back in her groove with Style Me Friday!  This weeks inspiration look is based around white jeans!  The fashion rule is no white until after Memorial Day!  I tend to follow the fashion rules but there are some exceptions!  I'm cool with rocking white jeans for Spring whether it's March or May and winter whites.  But please no white linen pants!

Pattern Mixing with Peyton + New LMA Necklace

Watch out Solange!  Peyton has become quite the pattern mixer!  She does it so effortlessly!  The key to pattern mixing is having the patterns with similar colors.  Make sure one of the patterns are simple like strips or dots.  Peyton will show you how it's done!

Weekend Style: Is it Spring Yet?

It was unbelievably nice this weekend in the A!  We brought out a little color this weekend with a great transition outfit.  Oh... Peyton brought her A game!  So hard for me to choose a handful of pictures, she just looked so cute!  Werk Princess P!

Monochromatic + Puffs Kisses

Earlier this week I got to attend an awesome event sponsored by Puffs at Adore Salon in Atlanta to support Dress for Success!   I tried to do something different and rock a monochromatic look.  They say it's supposed to make you look thinner....I need all the thin looking I can get!

Fab Finds I Almost Forgot About

I keep forgetting to post my fabulous finds!  I either forget, Peyton wears them or I put the bags in my closet hide them from Mister and end up forgetting about them.  No more winter clothes for P unless they are on super sale for next year!  Here are some items I recently purchased for Peyton that I forgot about from H+M, Nordstrom Rack and Old Navy.

From H+M, I got her this cute Minnie Mouse dress, a mini "Proenza Schouler" looking cross-body bag and a floral maxi dress.  All of these items were $5 each!

Weekend Style: Beanie Hat + Face Lift

Hope you guys had a great Super Bowl weekend!  We had a busy Saturday, so we just chilled in the house for Super Bowl Sunday.

Weekend Style: Mixing Patterns

These weekends are not long enough!  I hope you guys had a good one!  I am creeping into the Holiday spirit after having an fun dinner Saturday with my girlfriends and our families!  I had to take Peyton's pictures indoors because the dark caught us on Sunday.

Fabrik Holiday Style with My Style Vita

Last week I took a chance and took Peyton holiday fashion event at Fabrik Boutique in Midtown Atlanta hosted by my bloggy friend Jessica from My Style Vita.  With the holiday event gearing up there are so many fabulous events going on!  I hate leaving my baby doll so I put limits on how many nights a week I am away from her.  Jessica was such a sweet heart and suggested that I bring her.  Peyton is not a quite child and doesn't sit still!  Peyton is full of personality so I figured she would fit right in the grown folks fashion scene.

Word on the internet streets was that all the little girls were going to be wearing Tutus to Naturally Glam.  Well, I knew Peyton was going to wear one but I thought I would join in!

Back to Football Party in NYC!

Sorry for the lack of post this week.  I just made it back from a world wind week in NYC with my girl Tamara from Blitz and Glam!  I am so honored that she asked me to share in this great opportunity for the Back to Football events.  It was also NYFW so I attended Lucky Fabb where Rachel Zoe was a speaker and a few fashion parties before I returned yesterday.  A lot of my fellow ATLiens came to NYC for fashion week.  ATL crew is still there going to great shows and parties!  I have a TON of stuff to share with you guys!  So the post are going to be Bananas!!!

Baby Shopaholic Shopping in the City

I managed to fit in some shopping while I was in NYC!  I was super pumped that 5th Avenue Zara carried the kids line.  I have been forced to shop online to buy Peyton Zara Kids!

Hair + Hip Hop

Friday Night I attended the Hair + Hip Hop event at the fabulous Glam Bar hosted by Lexi of Curls, Coils and Kinks and Danielle of Style + Beauty Doctor with celeb hair stylist Gabi and Love + Hip Hop Atlanta star K Michelle.  I love hair and I love hip hop, so you know I was pumped for this event!

Weekend Style: Rolling Stones

Still can not believe it is June already!!!  I hope you guys had a great weekend.  Mine was action packed!  I hosted a big diaper drive Sunday and it was awesome!  Mama is pooped!  Saturday I took Peyton to Build-a-Bear for the first time (my first time too).  She loved it!  When we went to pick out the clothes she thought we were shopping for her and putting the clothes up to her chest saying "Cuuute".  Rightfully so! LOL! 

 To Build-a-Bear, Peyton wore a H+M Rolling Stones cotton dress with Payless sandals.

Concert Tee's are always in style! They yell "I'm Hip" LOL!  Vintage concert tees are awesome because you can wear them out with cute jeans and heels!  Do you own any vintage concert Tee's?
