Touch of Plaid

Happy  Holidays!  I'm only saying that to remind myself that Christmas is a little over two weeks away.  Eek! We don't have a tree up and not one present has been purchased (I did track down a Frozen castle).  Luckily I have the Very Merry Gift Guide to help me out.  In addition to saying Happy Holidays every chance I can, I'm also adding a hint of red to all our outfits.   This little plaid scarf of Peyton's is perfect.

Kids Fashion Week Mini Street Style

I'm years late with this. It's been a month since we returned from petiteParade's Kids Fashion Week in NYC and I'm still catching up!  Peyton had some epic fashion moments while we were in NYC.  She rocked outfits that adults would want to copy.  She made new friends and enjoyed being surrounded by all the fashion inspiration.  She keeps asking when we can go back.  

Are we there yet? Kate Spade

I've waited all my life for this... well Peyton's life.  The Kate Spade X Gap Kids collection has arrived!  Peyton and I got to shop the collection early at Lenox mall in Atlanta.  The collection was everything that we love about Kate Spade and Jack Spade in small proportions.

Pretty in Pink

I hope you all enjoyed your Halloween weekend.  We also got an extra hour of sleep.  But let's keep it real, that extra hour means your kids are just up even earlier.  I was hoping that rolling our clocks back one hour would help me get Peyton into bed earlier but it didn't work. I'll try again tonight.  Peyton had a ball trick or treating with her friends from school.  Oh, and actress Kaira Akita from Tyler Perry's Why did I Get Married (the crazy baby mama) and A Family that Preys (the hilarious secretary) dressed up as Peyton for Halloween.  We're so flattered and she nailed it.  You can see her pics HERE.  Thanks Kaira!  As promised, here is another one of Peyton's looks from Kids Fashion Week in NYC taken by Nasilele Photography.

Time to count your coins!  The Kate Spade X Gap Holiday Kids collection arrives on October 30th! Guess who's going to be late for work that day... this mama!  Kate Spade is one off my favorite designers. Kate Spade and Jack Spade paired with Gap Kids, it's a match made in Baby Shopaholic heaven.

I hope you guys enjoyed your weekend.  Didn't it fly by?  They always do!  I did get to see my one of my favorite hip hop artist of all time (and the finest), Nas at One Music fest.  I may getting too old for the festivals but I'll do anything for a glimpse of Nas!  Any who... *fans self* I was inspired by festival fashions, so Peyton rocked her wool wide brim fedora hat this weekend.

 

Flipping Out

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Mister's big birthday party was awesome!  I can't wait to share details from the early 60's themed party.  Now that I have both Peyton's and Mister's birthdays behind me, I tried my best to chill out the rest of the weekend.  Peyton got a chance to wear her new flip-up shades from LoveMyAlannah.

Mini Panama Hat

I love my Panama hat.  It comes in handy for picnics and at the pool.  I was determined to get Peyton a Panama hat for this spring and summer.  I found one from Gap Kids in February when the snow was still coming down in Atlanta.  Peyton was finally able to take her Panama hat for a spin with her denim Ruum dress.

Easter Outfits for Boys + Girls

Can you believe Easter is next Sunday!  Next thing you know, school will be out and summer will here!  But lets focus on Easter for now.  I put together a casual and dressy Easter looks for both little girls and boys.  Hopefully this will give you some style inspiration to complete your child's Easter look.

Peyton's Grammy Fashion Review & Floppy Hat

I hope you guys enjoyed the weekend.  Peyton is becoming quite the fashionista.  Lately she has been styling Mister.  Last night she watched the Grammy red carpet with me, commenting on the looks (details below).  Then, Peyton insisted on sporting this floppy hat from Gap Kids and fur vest that was handed down from one of my girlfriends.  She did that!

Ugly Christmas Shirt

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas around these parts.  We finally got a tree and Peyton was in charge decorating it.  Her and Mister got it done in no time flat.  We finally got out to do some holiday shopping.  Peyton wore her Skip 'N' Whistle Ugly Christmas shirt while we were out and about on Saturday.

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  We finally got some fall weather in Atlanta. I picked up a Leslie Tessler cape at the trunk show in Atlanta this weekend and this is the perfect weather to wear it.  I think the chill caught Peyton off guard when were taking pictures but she toughed through it.

Back to School in GAP

Today was Peyton's first day of preschool!  She was pretty upset to leave her old teachers.  from her half day toddler preschool class.  I normally picked her up everyday during my lunch but know she will be there all day.  I don't know what I am going to do with having my lunch hour too myself!  I was like a lost puppy at lunch, contemplating going to her school....I didn't. 

Baby Gap is another one of my go to spots when the seasons change.  I'm loving the brights in their fall looks.  Here are some of my top picks.

Pandora + Lucky Magazine Event Recap

The Pandora + Lucky Magazine Mother's Day Celebration event in Atlanta was off the hook!  I am so thankful for the wonderful opportunity to co-host the event with Melissa Lum, accessories editor for Lucky Magazine.  Days leading up to the event felt like it was my wedding day! (Sorry Mister).  The rain in Atlanta was non-stop on Saturday but that didn't not keep the guest from coming out!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! My conversations with Peyton get funnier and funnier every day!  Friday she was working my last good nerve getting into everything and not listening.  Before I was about to completely snap off, she grabbed my hand and said " Mommy... You have to be patient with me"  in a calm voice!  I could not help but laugh and kiss my baby!  She is right!  Kids can be so sweet and sour! LOL!
