Weekend Style!

Hope you had a great weekend!

We got a late start Saturday but we made it to the mall.
Peyton is sporting her Gap jean jacket $20 with coupon, and outfit from Target that was $5.  Keeping it casual with the chucks.

Jean jackets are a great way to transition into a new season like Nicole Richie is doing.

On Sunday my baby doll was ready to go to church in this outfit.

Velvet dress is from H&M, $10, tights from Target and shoes from Old Navy.  I would have rather have had her wear some different shoes but it was pretty cool this morning.

Ginnifer Goodwin looks fab rocking this velvet dress! She makes me want to rock a short do!

For the Love of Color

Last Thursday I was honored to be invited to the For the Love of Color event honoring the late Eunice Johnson at Macy's in Atlanta.

This event is honoring the style icon Eunice Johnson, founder of Fashion Fair cosmetics and Ebony Fashion Fair Shows and wife of the late John Johnson the founder of Ebony and Jet Magazine.

I remember the special they had last year about the Ebony Fashion fair and how it came to be with Eunice traveling the world and buying up fashions to bring back to the US for African American women to be able to wear them on the runway back in 1950's.

Macy's did a wonderful job hosting the event.  Mannequins were dressed in some of the fierce fashions that went down the catwalk back in the day.

I brought the legs out of hibernation! The dress is from Forever 21 for $12.50! Leather blazer from Arden B, a few years old about $200.

My BNF! Best Niece Forever!

Purse Bling! & Discount!

I just received a purse organizer from Purse Bling that I saw on one of the blogs I heart, Little Miss Monma.  Once I saw it I had to have it. It is a purse organizer that allows you to switch purses with out the hassle and has a ton of pockets so you can have a place for every thing.  I ordered it right away!

I ordered the Purse to Go Pocket Plus in Jumbo size....

I'm not even using all of the pockets.

Again, this is the Jumbo size and it fits in my LV Speedy 35

Then with in seconds, I switched to my everyday mommy bag.

The President of Purse Bling has been so kind to offer 10% off to my readers.  When checking out use the code: BABY.  They also offer free shipping!  You can't beat that.  They have a ton of items that help keep us busy ladies organized.

Let me know if plan on ordering one.  Trust me, you will love it!

Look at What We Got!

From the Childrens Boutique Sample Warehouse Sale!

I don't know what we are going to do with that onesie tutu but it was $5 with matching headband.  I am sure we will find some place to wear it too.  The pants body suit was $10.  I luv the ruffles at the bottom. I do not recall the name of the boutique this was from.

This dress is an Ella Moss dress, reg $60, we got for $20.  I didn't get the name of the boutique it was from, but found there was a button missing when I got home. O wells...

These dresses are from an online boutique called Pure and Honest.  These dress are made by Tea.  The regular price is around $35, I got each one for $10.  The folks at this store were so sweet!

This sweater was $5!  Also came from Pure and Honest.  I thought it was different and funky with a vintage look.

We found this pink Ralph Lauren espadrilles for $10, normally $32,

This is one my Favorite outfits of the year!
This is a handmade item by an Atlanta area lady with an Etsy shop called KKnoodles.  I paid $35 for this outfit.  I can't wait for P to wear it.  This could even be a Birthday outfit. Check out her site asap! Tell her the Baby Shopaholic sent you : )

So we spent a total of $110!  Not too bad! It could have been worse.

What do you think of the deals?

P's 1st Sample Sale!

This was actually the Children's Boutique Warehouse Sale.  I like to call it a sample sale because I used to frequent those in the past and the thought of one gets me excited!  I felt like this was Peyton's first sample sale experience.  So we got up early to try and get the deals!

We got there about 45 mins after the doors opened.

It was basically designers and boutique owners with tons of stuff from thier stores.

Peyton wasted no time jumping in to find deals!

The Baby Shopaholic did great!  We found some great stuff!  She was in her element!  No cries the whole day, Mister cries after being in the mall with me 15 minutes!
Me and my big, heavy baby made it out!  I will post about the fab finds we got later week!

Target Come Up!

Last week we hit up Target (mama wanted to get more ELF) to get diapers and things.  Look at what else we found!

This dress was $7

Jeans $2!  I think they are lil boyz but we will hook them up with a cute top!

This set was $5

Each of these shirts were $1.50... That is the shirt that Peyton wore on Sunday that is too small!  The brand for the dalmatian shirt is Cherokee, and I am starting to think that brand runs small so beware!

Have you found any deals at Target lately?  Please share!

Weekend Style

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

So Saturday Peyton went to her first sample sale!  Well, not really a sample sale but it was a Children's Boutique Warehouse Sale!  So we got up early on Saturday to had down to the sale.  I didn't have time to  take photos of her fit but she did rock a onesie that said "Mommy's little Shopper".  Perfect for the occasion!

Here we are out after we hit the sale.
Peyton has on her stunner shades, Gap Jean jacket, H&M jeans that were $5 and her pink Mary Janes from Payless that were around $4.  Isn't she big for  7 months!

Here is Peyton on Sunday headed out with Mommy to do some grocery shopping.

She is wearing a Dalmatian long sleeve t-shirt with ruffle detail that was $1.50 with black skinny pants from Walmart, $3.50 and black cowboy boots.  You will not seeing these boots anymore, she has finally filled them out.  We got our $7 worth!  Probably won't see this shirt again either, its is a size 12 month and is tight on her!

SJP is rocking the Baby Bjorn!  I hope we look as cool as she does!  I know P did with the shades.

More details on the Children's Boutique Warehouse Sale coming soon!

Rock the Red Pump

Every year, the United States recognizes March 10th as National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD). It’s a nationwide initiative to raise awareness about the increasing impact of HIV/AIDS on women & girls and encourages ladies to take action. While progress has definitely been made in the areas of AIDS prevention and treatment, women still represent 27% of all new AIDS diagnoses, with African-American women accounting for 66% of that group. This year focuses on this statistic, “Every 35 minutes, a woman tests positive for HIV in the United States.”

In observance of this day, The Red Pump Project is asking bloggers to participate in the third annual “Rock the Red Pump™” campaign: 500 in 50.  We have a goal of getting 500 blogs and we have 50 days to do it.

For More info go to The Red Pump Project to sign up!

Will you be Rocking Red Pumps on March 10???

I would like you to take a picture of you in your Red Pumps on March 10 and email me iheartpeyton at gmail and I will link it up with my girl at Looms Lids & Layers who is an ambassador for the Red Pump Project.

Get a ELF

I am a makeup junkie!  I used to be addicted to Mac right out of college then move up to Chanel and Bobbi Brown.  I finally got tired of paying $15 to $20 for one eyeshadow that I didn't like when I got home or $50 for a compact with 4 colors.  Even makeup tools, they could run you a pretty penny.

So I have been hearing about ELF....

ELF stands for Eyes Lips and Face. All of these but two were $1!  The other two were 0.70 cents at Target.

Tweezer (you can never have too many!)
Eye Shadow (I luv this color(
Brow Brush (I always loose the short ones in my makeup train case, love this long one)
Eye Shadow Brush
Conceler (not sure about this color, but for $1 I will try, maybe keep in the car for emergency)
Lip Gloss $0.70
All Over Color Stick $0.70

I must say the quality is pretty good!  I will definately be going back to get more!

What is you favorite budget friendly makeup products?
