Brooklyn Babe

Last weekend, Peyton and I ripped through NYC with photo shoots and fashion show.  We had a ball but unfortunately I didn't have any time to shop, so I need to head back soon!  Peyton took the streets of Brooklyn by storm representing Skechers new fall boots for girls.

Love My Alannah Fall Lookbook + Peyton's in it!

I know we're all still talking about Beyonce shutting down the VMA's and Blue stealing the show but I'm super excited to share LoveMyAlannah fall back to school lookbook!  *throws confetti*  The fall collection is SICK!  Amazing headbands, watches, and earrings.  I want every single piece for Peyton.  I'm honored that Peyton and I were asked to be involved in LoveMyAlannah's epic look book.  While Peyton did her thing in front of the camera, I was behind the camera, styling the mini models.  The lookbook was shot by the amazing team of Creative Soul Photography.

Peyton's 1st Modeling Gig

Peyton is totally winning this week.  She turned 4 on Monday and then we received our printed copy of the Isossy Children lookbook she modeled for a few weeks ago.  When I tell you Peyton came to the shoot ready to WERK, that is exactly what she did, WERK.  I know you guys are like, duh, she takes pictures all the time.  You're right, but I take her pictures, not a studio full of strangers and lights with someone else telling her what to do.  That didn't even phase her.  She sat for hair and makeup like a pro.  I was so proud of her.  I kept getting choked up and shed a few tears as I watched my baby doll do her thing for Creative Soul Photography.  Check out some of my favorite pictures from the Isossy Children lookbook by Creative Soul Photography.

Fall Preview at Calypso St. Barth

Weekend Style: Rocking Phillip Lim

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Mine was crazy busy and bittersweet.  My mom moved back to Chicago this weekend.  This was in the works for a few months.  I'm kinda sad about it but I think it's the best thing for her.  In addition to packing up my mom, Peyton started soccer on Saturday.  Then on Sunday, Peyton and I hit up Target to check out the Phillip Lim collab.  Watch Peyton WERK in one of the Phillip Lim items I purchased.

Weekend Style: FabKids Sequins

Check out Peyton's sequins number from FabKids.  I love how they matched a sequin dress with a pair of leggings.  Since my camera is on the fritz I have enlisted the help of Arianna Elizabeth Photography to get our pictures right.

Hey Dolls!  I missed y'all!  Sorry for last week!  I will be making up for it this week!  I hope I don't get on your nerves with all the post headed your way! LOL!  Anyway, I am back from BlogHer in Chicago.  It was amazeballs!  Because cause going to BlogHer is so simple and easy, I also hosted a baby shower for my niece on Saturday afternoon in the mist of all of it.  I don't even know how I'm typing right now!

Colorful Mommy + Me Photo Shoot

I am beyond excited to share a recent Mommy & Me photo shoot with Kimberly Murray Photography. Kimberly contacted me with a task beyond just taking pictures with Peyton.  Kimberly challenged me to flex my styling muscle in coordinating our outfits with out being too matchy.  For family photo shoots, folks typically pick one color and everyone wears it.  She gave me a few themes and I ran with them.  The first one was summer brights.

Last Tuesday was picture day at Peyton's school!   I can't believe she is taking school pictures!  You know I stressed a little about what she is going to wear.  Since I wasn't going to be there I didn't want anything too fussy.  I decided on this cute colorful dress from Zutano!
