8 Red Lipsticks on My Lips for the Holidays

I've crowned myself as the queen of red lips.  Since I wear so much red, I thought I would go through my stash to swatch some of my favorite reds.  I shaved my mustache and went to work with the best holiday reds starting at $6!

A couple of weeks ago I shared on Instagram a new product I tried from Dermalogica to clear up a pimple.  It worked so fast that I wasn't able to take a before and after picture.  I was really shocked by the results.  Lucky for your guys, I got another pimple! Hooray!

Even though I have big cabbage patch like cheeks, I love blush.  I feel like I look weird without it.  Lipstick is another item that I can't go without.  Mega brand, Yves Saint Laurent recently released Baby Doll Kiss & Blush.  Kiss & Blush is a two-in-one lip and cheek color with a matte finish.

The much anticipated Shea Moisture Cosmetics has arrived at select Target stores!  Unfortunately the Shea Moisture section at my Target looks like a tornado came through with only a few items left blowing in the wind.  Shea moisture had an awesome booth at the World Natural Hair Show this past weekend and I was able to check out all the cosmetics.  

Mother's Day Gift Idea: Lipstick with a Message

I recently received the most awesome gift ever from Neiman Marcus that I can't stop talking about.  I received the Guerlain Le Rouge Lipstick.  I know your wondering what's the big deal about a lipstick.  Not only is my Guerlain lipstick in a bright deep berry color (Garconne), it has my name on it! A shed a tear when I saw it was made special for me.  

Makeup Makeover

Being a product junkie has its pros and its cons.  Besides having a ton of makeup that you may not get to test, your bathroom counter starts to look like the clearance rack in the back of a bargain basement.  Luckily, I have my own vanity and sink so I don't have to hear Mister complain too much about my mess.  My counter was so cluttered and crazy that it was hard for me to get ready. I needed a makeup makeover!

Nars Fall Beauty Day at Nordstrom

On Saturday, a few of my blogging buddies and myself hosted a day of beauty featuring Nars fall collection at Nordstrom at Perimeter Mall.  Jessica from Glamazons Blog, Eboni from Fashionista Next Door, Danielle from the Style and Beauty Doctor and Lexi with the Curls all sported our favorite fall look using Nars cosmetics.

My "Am I Too Old to Be Wearing This?" Outfit

With summer coming to an end I figured I would go hard and try to wear summer outfits that have been sitting in my closet.  What else screams summer better than some "super" short denim shorts I may have had no business wearing!

Found: Awesome Liquid Eyeliner!

I am a big fan of liquid eyeliner because it doesn't run. Regular liners make me look like I didn't wash my face from the day before.  That look is to be kept for a smokey eye.  I normally wear my Kiss liquid liner but it recently went missing.  The place that I buy it from is a little out of the way so I have not been able to replace it yet.  I was in the mall and stumbled into Sephora to see what's new.  They had an eyeliner tester display so I decided to play with them.  The Stila liquid liner reigned supreme! 

I made a line on my hand and rubbed it immediately and it did not smudge!  So I took it home!

Rocking the Color of the Year

I think Pantone picked the color of the year after I wore this Laundry by Shelli Segal dress on Saturday!  He he!  In case you haven't heard the 2013 color of the year is Emerald!  Well... this dress may be Evergreen but same difference to me!

Tom Ford, Welcome to Atlanta!

Last week Tom Ford's full beauty and cosmetics line landed at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta!!!  Makeup by the sexiest man in Fashion... Say no more!  I have heard so much about the Tom Ford beauty line, especially the lipsticks but I have never been able to try it.  My wait is now over!  Tom Ford's full beauty line debuted at Neiman Marcus Atlanta last Tuesday and I was flattered to be able to preview it on its inaugural day!
