Hyland's Baby and Children's Health Products

With cold and flu season coming up I thought I would share some information about Hyland's products!  I meet Rachel the Marketing Manager at Blogalicious.  We were sitting next to each other on the first day of Blogalicious.  She gave me a few samples to try.  When I got home I realized all the Hyland's products I was already using!

When I came back from DC, Peyton started to get a diaper rash.  After a few days of using her normal Aveeno diaper rash cream, there were no signs of improvement.  Before I took her to the doctor I decided to try Hyland's Diaper Ointment.  I saw improvement the next day!  Now we use it all the time!

When Peyton got a little summer cold I didn't know what to do.  I know some people say tough it out but I hated seeing Peyton uncomfortable.  I picked this up at Walgreens.  She was able to sleep for at least 4 hours before her nose clogged up again.

When Peyton started teething I purchased the Hyland's Teething Gel.  We don't use it that much but I rubbed some on my gums to see, man my lip was numb so I guess that is good!

From Hyland's: "The active ingredients in Hyland’s homeopathic medicines work by stimulating the most effective healing force known - the body's own natural defenses - and are therefore not heavy or overpowering. The medicines are virtually free of side effects and can be taken by nearly anyone at any time, from infants to the elderly, including anyone taking prescription medications."

They also have a an online community called Healthy Beginnings loaded with a ton of information on to aid in raising healthy babies.  You can also order a free 1st year baby calender!  This calender helps you to keep up with appointments and milestones for your baby.

Do you use Hyland's products?  What are your go to products or remedies for your children?

*Disclosure: I was gifted products from Hyland's to try.  Opinions expressed are my own.

Mama's Movie Premiere

Well Tuesday was the BIG premiere at the Fox of Mister's movie that he produced Sunday Morning Rapture.  It was a awesome night!  The night was un-real!  We actually had a police escort to the FOX! Crazy! We felt like celebrities for one night!

Makeup was done by Jasmine from Fashion Rouge, who I meet at some blogging events this summer!  She hooked a sista up!  Love her!  You thought it was Beyonce didn't you? LOL! I did my own hair.

So I ended up wearing the Ports 1961 gown from Rent the Runway.  Rent the Runway was a great experience and will definitely use them again!  Thanks to again to Aisha from Hartlyn Kids for suggesting!  I am carrying Gucci clutch and Pretty Girl Glam cocktail ring.  Fur is the same one I wore when I got married over 4 years ago from Bloomingdale's.

Here are my beautiful shoes from my Shoe Guy!  Only $40!  I was actually able to wear them all night.  I ran out of gas after about 4 hrs but we were headed back to the limo.

Mister and I hitting the Red Carpet.

I loved the dress but it was super thin and made of viscose.  You can see my spanks! Hopefully it looked like a slip to the untrained eye : )  I styled Mister.  I didn't want him to wear a tux, I thought this look screamed cool Producer!  He is so cute!
All the folks standing watching the Red Carpet.

Posters outside the theater.  The movie was AMAZING!  Mister did an awesome job, could not be more proud of him!  He even gave me special thanks in the credits!  What a sweetheart!

After the movie there was a reception with the cast and crew.
Here is Mister with the writer/ director of the Sunday Morning Rapture, Bishop William Sheals.
There goes those spanx again!
Mister with one of the stars of the movie Tiny AKA Dee Bo (from Friday)
My niece Tish and I tired and ready to go!

Like I said amazing night!  I think my next career move may be being Mister's Manager/ PR!  He was all over the place trying to work behind the scenes.  He even missed his named in the opening credits!  But we still cheered loud!  So I had to wrangle him in and make him take photos and do interviews.

Anything is possible when you work hard and have faith!  I am so inspired by what Mister has done for a movie that can change peoples lives.  It wasn't easy for him or I!  I have been holding down the fort while he does what he needs to do.  Trust me the fairy tale was over real quick when I had to get up and go to work the next morning!

What do you think about the dress?  I will share more details on how you can see the movie when I find out more! Thank you guys for being so supportive!

Peyton's Thanksgiving Style

I hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving!  I am so thankful for so many things!  Especially this little Fashionista!

Peyton wore this outfit on Friday.  We didn't get dressed up for Thanksgiving since it was just immediate family.  I actually wore a sweat suit all day!  It was cute though!

Peyton is rocking a light pink long sleeve Burberry shirt from Neiman Marcus, around $25.  Riding pants are from H&M, $10.  Knee boots from JC Penny's.

I love the little ones in Burberry!  It's just classic!  Super Fly little Mason Disick- Kdash is rocking it.

Too bad I don't own any Burberry myself!  What classic brands do you love to see the little ones in?

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!  I pray everyone has safe travels and great food this holiday.

I love Thanksgiving!  This is the best holiday because you celebrate by eating!  What is sad is I don't cook!  HATE IT!  But love to eat!  My mom cooks the Thanksgiving dinner so where ever she is we are there!  I do make a mean cheesecake from scratch!

Here are some things that I am Thankful for!

This little doll face!
 This beautiful Man
These gorgeous Christian Louboutin shoes thanks to my BFF!

The other man in my life, the "Shoe Guy"!

And all of YOU!  Thanks for reading and being so supportive!  Love ya!
What are you thankful for?

Mama's 1st Pair of Louboutins!

Yes Ladies you read it right!  I am now the proud owner of these babies!

They retail for $795!

I am only the owner of these because of this beautiful lady!  Dee and I have been BFFs since I was 9!

I bet you are wondering what happened?  Here is the story:

My girl Dee that lives in the Chicago suburbs (pictured above) called me on weekday afternoon.
Dee: So happy I caught you!
Me: Whats wrong?
Dee: I think I found you some Christian Louboutins!
Me:  Huh?
Dee: I'm at a thrift store!  And there are some here!  I am going to send you a picture.

I get the picture, OMG could it be?  I call her back.

Dee:  I think they are legit! I can't fit them, you want me to get em?
Me: Umm Yeah!

Guess who much she paid for them?????  $7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am thinking, get out there with those shoes as fast as you can!  How could there be REAL Loubs at a thrift store?  I forward the pictures to my other BF that owns a few pair to check them out.  She says they look good!  I'm like YES!  So I patiently wait for Dee to ship them to me.  Here they are!  My second child!

Once I got them I knew they were real.  The soles are leather.  Who puts a leather sole on a fake shoe?  The inside of the shoe is a butter soft leather as well.  But how did they end up in a thrift store.  So I start to do my research. I google "How to Spot a Fake".  Everything checks out.  I still want it to be confirmed so I take them to the fabulous designer consignment shop for them to check out.  They don't see any flaws.  We have a winner! Can you believe it?  I am just so happy they are classic shoes

Mister has been laughing at me shinning and cleaning these shoes.  I am still in disbelief!  I have the most amazing girlfriends in the world that think of me when they find something so amazing.  Love you Dee! Too small or big, I would have chopped off a toe or something to wear these.

So ATL, when you see me out with my $7 Louboutins don't hate : ) Just kidding, but really don't! LOL. What is you most unbelievable thrift store find?

Peyton's Weekend Party Style

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Saturday Peyton and I attended my friends sons' birthday party.  My girlfriend sons, the Holley Boys are turning 1 and 3 and birthdays are about a week apart.  We really enjoyed the party!

Peyton's top is from Zara.com, $20.  Skinny jeans ($10) and faux fur vest ($12 with coupon) are from Old Navy. Boots are from H&M.  Peyton is sporting a super cute poodle necklace sent to her from Pretty Girl Glam.  Don't cha love it?  The chain is not yet available but she wanted Peyton to try it out.

Here are the Birthday Boys Dillon and Deven!  Deven was having a ball!
They had a Tumble Bus on hand for the kiddos.  What a great idea!

Peyton and her BFF Lexi!
Yes that is Peyton's hand trying to get a cupcake.
Here is the beautiful Holley Family!  Love them!

Here is Mama!  I decided to pose in front of the bouncy house.  Sorry my sweater is jumbled up.  Sweater from H&M $10, Forever21 jeans $10.50, and Steve Madden boots. Infinity scarf from Forever21 $8!

Great Party!  Love that my girls all have babies and we can party together.  Hopefully we can put together a New Years Party!   (Cough cough) Tash!  Do you party with your babies?

Black Friday!

I Heart Black Friday!  Who doesn't?  I love the rush of trying to get things that I want for an extremely low price!  I don't mind standing in line out in the cold hours before the store opens.

The ladies in my family and I get a few news papers go thru the ads and make our lists.  Then we work out the logistics for Black Friday and work in teams of two.  Yes it can get that serious!  Now I don't get crazy, I just get what I really feel is a deal.  Some years it's a TV or computer or maybe $2 dvds.

I like to get the papers on Thursday to find out what the deals are but you can find out online.  Tonia at Chatty Momma has information on Walmarts Black Friday deals.  I would like to get the XBox 360 with Kinect!  I want this so I can get my Just Dance on!

It will be $200!  What a steal!

I am also excited to see what awesome toys I can get for Peyton.  Toys R Us  is going to have some great deals.

Power Wheels ATV it will be on sale for $50!  Mister doesn't want her to have one yet cuz he thinks she is going to drive around the house and tear up everything but $50! Why not!

If you are in the market for  DSLR camera, Target is going to have the Canon EOS Rebel for $479.

You can check out BlackFriday.com for more deals.

Do you get out for Black Friday sales?  What is your strategy?  What do you plan on getting?

November Birch Box

I just received my November Birch box!

The November box includes the following:
LaROCCA Champagne and Shimmer Acai Sugar Polish

Klorane Soothing Eye Makeup Remover with Cornflower Water

Oscar Blandi Jasmine Protein Mist

Zoya Gems & Jewels Collection

Chuao Chocolate Bars

The only products I have used so far is the Klorane Makeup Remover and the Chuao Chocolate Bar.  With the makeup remover I didn't feel there was anything too special about it.  I had to go over each eye a few times.  It wasn't like one swipe removed everything.

On the the Chuao Chocolate Bar.  First let me start by saying I really don't care for chocolate candy that is only in small pieces.  So I just decided to crack open this sample.  First bite was cool and then something strange happened, my mouth started popping!  I bit into another piece, the pooping continues and then a minty taste starts to form.  I guess I should have read the package it says Fire Cracker.  It's like a grown persons pop rocks.  Remember that? #NoThankYou

I do love the nail polish color.  The little bracelet is cute, Peyton will probably wear it.  So I guess overall it is a good little box.  Did you sign up for Birch Box yet?
