What a crazy week!  Guess who had a pink eye infection this week?  This girl.  My poor eye looked like it was about to fall out of my head.  That's why I'm wearing shades this week.  I'm not as cool as Aracely from Mama Fashion Files to rock shades with my outfits.  Glad to report that my eye is better now!

Shop Small this Saturday

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!  I'm happy to announce we have been invited to a few dinners on Thanksgiving Day after begging on the blog so I will not be cooking!  I am thankful for that!

After Black Friday, make sure to participate in Small Business Saturday.  We all get caught up shopping at the big chain stores for the holidays.  I think it's important that we support our small businesses the best we can.  I love small businesses because you can find items that no one else carries.  I wanted to share some of my favorite small businesses that you can shop for Small Business Saturday and beyond.

Versona Accessories Opens New ATL Store

My favorite accessories store, Versona just opened a new location in the Atlanta area!  The new location is in Alpharetta near North Point Mall next to Crate + Barrel.  I'm in big trouble because this new location happens to be a few minutes from my house!   Check out some of the goodies I spotted on my first trip to Versona.

Pandora + Lucky Magazine Event Recap

The Pandora + Lucky Magazine Mother's Day Celebration event in Atlanta was off the hook!  I am so thankful for the wonderful opportunity to co-host the event with Melissa Lum, accessories editor for Lucky Magazine.  Days leading up to the event felt like it was my wedding day! (Sorry Mister).  The rain in Atlanta was non-stop on Saturday but that didn't not keep the guest from coming out!

Style Me Friday: Stripes + Boyfriend Jeans

Happy Friday!  Because I'm addicted to Style Me Friday, I made sure I sported my outfit before I left town!  This weeks look is a cute and casual look worn by Eva Longoria.  This Style Me Friday features a black + white shirt with boyfriend jeans.  Boyfriend jeans are the shizzz right now!  Luckily I overdosed on striped shirts recently so I was good to go!

Touchstone Crystal Division of Swarovski has launched a Holiday Hurricane Rebound campaign to support its mompreneurs. 

Before being contacted by Touchstone Crystal, I was unfamiliar with the brand.  I was surprised to see the beautiful designs at reasonable prices!  Each product in the Touchstone Crystal line is made with Swarovski Crystal and follows its strict quality guidelines.

Touchstone Crystal's traditional method of marketing is working with individual entrepreneurs that host in-home parties to generate sales.  A lot of the East Coast Entrepreneurs have been effected hurricane Sandy!  Some of these small business owners and their customers are without power, heat and homes!

This “Holiday Hurricane Rebound” campaign will allow individuals from anywhere in the country to partner with a specific Touchstone Crystal small business owner on the East Coast whose circumstances have been effected by the storm to the degree that her or his ability to generate income in their community via traditional means is seriously challenged. Participants will have a chance to connect with a Touchstone Crystal entrepreneur directly, online or via telephone, and set up an online jewelry sales party during the holiday season. In addition to initiating this campaign and working to help secure party partners and facilitate the parties, Touchstone Crystal will make double jewelry credit awards available to remote hosts who choose to sign up for this program.

Last week I had the honor to attend a private preview of the John Hardy Fall Collection at Neiman Marcus!  Alright Ladies!  Y'all better start being good because Christmas is coming and you are going to want to a John Hardy piece!  

Each JJohn Hardy piece is one of a kind because they are all handmade!  Isn't this piece amazing?

I was super pumped when I was invited to Rent the Runway's Atlanta Party this week!  If you have been following me for a while you remember when I had a hard time finding a dress for Mister's movie premier back in the fall.  If not you can check it out HERE and HERE!  Rent the Runway saved the day!

Stella & Dot Trunk Show with Mommy Posh and Mattie

Saturday afternoon Peyton and I attended a Stella and Dot trunk show at Mattie's with Gina from Mommy Posh from NYC!

Gina came all the way from NYC to show us some awesome Stella & Dot jewelry and accessories.  So many gorgeous pieces from Stella and Dot!  Peyton kept try to take the multi strand necklace on the right.  I don't blame her!

Versona Accessories Grand Opening

I was invited to the Grand Opening of Versona Accessories in the Atlanta Metro area.  I had never heard of Versona but I took a look at the site and liked what I saw.  So Peyton and I headed to Versona to see what they were about.

I was impressed by the size of the store.  It was huge and tons of accessories and clothing.  I didn't know where to start!

The store was very organized.  Each section had a certain color or look.  If you had a certain type of piece in mind you can go straight to that area.

 Peyton had a ball trying on some fabulous items.  Check out my future beauty queen. Toddlers and Tiaras?

There were just too many things that I wanted from Versona!  They had everything and more!  I had a basket full and it was hard to narrow it down.  Here is what I left with.

 I had to get these sunglasses!  They were only $7.99.

I love me some statement earrings but I need some small ones too.  I picked up these David Yurman inspired earrings : )

Can you believe they had this necklace for $17.99!  I saw the similar H&M necklace on blogs and have been stalking the more expensive one at J Crew.  This alone made my night.  They have a coral one that I think I will grab this weekend!

 I just love this pink necklace.  Only $14.99.

Versona also carries shoes!!!  I knew I was in trouble.  I manged to get out of there with just getting one pair for $39.99.  I was on the hunt for some fun pink shoes for the Spring and Summer. 

There was so much more that I wanted!  They had cute clutches, dresses, hats and more!  I am going to make it my business to get there at least once a month.  What do you think of my buys?

I went to the Prada Holiday Party last month.  Well they ran out of swag bags and took down my address and said they would send something.  Of course I thought... Yeah, right!  This arrived the Friday before Christmas!

Two Prada bracelets!  The retail value is well over $300!  Thank you Prada Atlanta!  Mister answered the door when the package arrived and looked at me like I was crazy when he saw it was Prada!  "What did you order!"   Naw babe, it's swag!

So between these awesome thrift finds and winnings, God must be trying to tell me to stop spending money!  I'm listening!!!

Mama's Christmas Wish List

I am not a good gift buyer unless its clothing or a necessity that someone needs.  So your not getting a gift guide from me but I will tell you what this mama would love for Christmas!

2. Tortoise Cat Eye Glasses - I would feel really smart in these.

Tamara from Get it Girl Style posted about this watch and I was in love! I don't think it has went on sale just yet because I can't find it for sale. So I may not get it for Christmas but I will be stalking! Word on the internet street is that is going to be around $200.
