Mamanista Fridays Link-Up: The Vest

I'm so ready for the weekend.  The last couple of weeks have been crazy busy.  I plan to catch up on some rest and get back on my diet.  Enough of my whining.  This week, Mama Fashion Files and I are wearing vests.  I wore this outfit to the Beyonce and Jay Z concert in Atlanta on Tuesday.

I hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day.  I did my two favorite things yesterday, eat and shop.  If you'd stop by my house you would have thought it was Father's Day because Mister spent the afternoon napping on the couch (smh).  So Peyton and I headed to the mall.  Peyton sported one of her new Carter's outfits on our shopping trip.

Best of the Fest with ModCloth

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  I just made it back from L.A. for LuckyFabb.  Even though I was dog tired, I managed to get some pictures of Peyton yesterday.  I put my SD card in the computer and all her pictures were corrupted!  So your stuck with some pictures of me today until I figure out how to fix it.   My few days in LA were action packed!  I had a ball hanging with Danielle from Style and Beauty Doctor and Aracely from Mama Fashion Files.  I couldn't have asked for a better crew to roll with.  Right off the plane, we headed to have lunch and checkout some "Best of the Fest" looks from ModCloth.

Partying with Babiators

Last week, we had such a great time at the Babiators launch party for the spring collection at the Baby Braithwaite store in Buckhead.  Since we were checking out the new Babiators shades, I thought it would be fitting to wear this bright yellow dress.

Due to the recent snow storms that brought Atlanta to a standstill, the original date for the Babiators spring launch party was cancelled.  But it's back on now!  Woohoo!  I would love for my Atlanta peeps to join me to party with Babiators on March 18th.

Mamanista Fridays: Trench Coat (Kinda)

Since spring is taking it's sweet little time to come, Mama Fashion File and I are styling our trench coats for Mamanista Friday.  Unfortunately, my coat isn't exactly a trench coat.  What had happened was... in my head, I keep telling myself it was a trench coat even though it's really a parka.  So act like you didn't notice because this coat from Lulu's is super cute.

Baby Fashion Week Day 4: Lady in Red

This week has been nutz!  I had some kind of stomach bug on Monday and P got it yesterday.  Thankfully they are only lasting for 24hrs.  I'm sure Mister is up next.  On top of that, the city has been crippled with snow since Tuesday so you can't really go anywhere.  So ready for things to be "normal" again.  The Babiators event that was to be held tonight will be rescheduled, date tbd.  Peyton has one more Baby Fashion Week outfit to share.  Since Valentine's Day is tomorrow it's only right that Peyton wear the color of love.

Weekend Style: Boho Baby

This weekend was emotionally draining.  There was a lot going on with the Trayvon trial and the passing of Corey Monteith (RIP).  I hope everyone will be able to find peace and comfort to move forward.

No last minute trips this weekend.  I was able to hang with Peyton all weekend.  My bestie's little girl had on a maxi dress this weekend and it reminded me that Peyton had one that I purchased early spring.  We decided to add a floppy for a bohemian look.

Versona Accessories Opens New ATL Store

My favorite accessories store, Versona just opened a new location in the Atlanta area!  The new location is in Alpharetta near North Point Mall next to Crate + Barrel.  I'm in big trouble because this new location happens to be a few minutes from my house!   Check out some of the goodies I spotted on my first trip to Versona.

Style Me Friday: Canadian Tuxedo, Denim on Denim

I am so ready for this long weekend!  No big plans this weekend.  I have a graduation to attend and will spend the rest of the time stuffing my face!  

This weeks Style Me Friday is Double Denim but I like to call it the "Canadian Tuxedo".  Canadian Tuxedo means wearing Denim on Denim.  I'm a fan of this trend! I love wearing jeans and denim jackets!  Putting my picture next to these skinny girls is starting to mess with my self confidence!  LOL! JK! But really, I'm about to go work out!

Panama Hat in Panama City!

I tried my best not to comb my hair during the trip, so having a cute hat was a must!  I think you should always have a cute hat on deck so you can look fab after being at the beach all day or getting your hair wet!   

I picked up this Panama hat from Target in the men section a few days before we left. 

All I Want for My Birthday...

That title has to be said in your Two Chainz voice.  Today is my 30 *cough cough* something birthday : ).  I thought I would put together a birthday wish list. Hey Mister : )

Weekend Style: Aviators + Khaki

I hope you guys had a great weekend!  Saturday we celebrated my mothers birthday by eating all day!  My kind of celebration!  During the summer Peyton and I wear a lot of dresses are so ready to go straight full blown fall so we can wear more pants.  

Weekend Style: New Hair Do!

Peyton and I laid low key Friday and Saturday.  We didn't get out of the house until dinner time on Saturday.  I got some much needed rest!  Now I just want to try and sleep all the time!

Aviators will NEVER go out of style so it is worth investing some money in a great pair (just don't sit on them).  Aviators look awesome with everything.  Always fun to wear a girly dress and rock it out with some aviators.

Mama's Cat Eye Sunglasses - Vlogging!

I am trying to do more videos.  I recently purchased a used flip cam from Ebay... Too bad it dies every time I go to use it.  So I did this really quick on my phone.

Anyway, I have been obsessed with the Cat Eye Sunglasses every since I saw NeNe wearing them on RHOA.  She has the Tom Ford Nikita shades.  They retail for $360.  Check out what I got!
