Kids Fashion Week Mini Street Style

I'm years late with this. It's been a month since we returned from petiteParade's Kids Fashion Week in NYC and I'm still catching up!  Peyton had some epic fashion moments while we were in NYC.  She rocked outfits that adults would want to copy.  She made new friends and enjoyed being surrounded by all the fashion inspiration.  She keeps asking when we can go back.  

Brooklyn Babe

Last weekend, Peyton and I ripped through NYC with photo shoots and fashion show.  We had a ball but unfortunately I didn't have any time to shop, so I need to head back soon!  Peyton took the streets of Brooklyn by storm representing Skechers new fall boots for girls.

Kids Fashion Week: Alivia Simone

Peyton and I attended our second Kids Fashion Week presented by Petite Parade this past weekend.  Peyton is a year older and boy did she enjoy it.  Peyton hammed it up for the paparazzi, made new friends and then told me she wanted to be in the shows when she turns five.  We'll add that to our vision board.  One designer I was excited to see was Alivia Simone.  The designers play on patterns and textures along with detailed design caught my attention earlier this year.  Here are some of my favorite looks that hit the runway from her Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

Rip the Runway at Bloomingdale's {Video}

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  Peyton and I have been going non-stop since Friday.  Mama is so tired today, hence the late post. On Saturday afternoon, Peyton hit the runway for Bloomingdale's BKids back to school fashion show.  

Peyton's 1st Modeling Gig

Peyton is totally winning this week.  She turned 4 on Monday and then we received our printed copy of the Isossy Children lookbook she modeled for a few weeks ago.  When I tell you Peyton came to the shoot ready to WERK, that is exactly what she did, WERK.  I know you guys are like, duh, she takes pictures all the time.  You're right, but I take her pictures, not a studio full of strangers and lights with someone else telling her what to do.  That didn't even phase her.  She sat for hair and makeup like a pro.  I was so proud of her.  I kept getting choked up and shed a few tears as I watched my baby doll do her thing for Creative Soul Photography.  Check out some of my favorite pictures from the Isossy Children lookbook by Creative Soul Photography.

BKids Spring Fashion Show

Last Sunday, I had the honor of hosting the Bloomingdale's Kids spring fashion preview at the the Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta.  The Bloomingdale's BKids department is humongous
 and this event was a great way for parents to check out whats hot for the spring.  Peyton participated (kinda) in the show in this preppy chic look.

Baby Fashion Week Day 1: Cross My Heart

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  New York Fashion Week is in full swing!  In addition to seeing my favorite designers Fall 2014 collections rip the runway, I live for the street style pictures.   So while I was looking at a few street style photos I starting thinking about what would Peyton wear to Fashion Week?   Peyton and I put together a few "baby" Street Style looks inspired by New York Fashion Week to share with you.  Welcome to Day One.

Bonnie Young Show at #petiteParade

Peyton and I returned from the petiteParade Kids Fashion about a week ago and we are still talking about it.  One of the most anticipated shows during Kids Fashion Week was Bonnie Young.  After working as Creative Director for Donna Karan for 16 years, Bonnie Young started her children's luxury couture line.  The Bonnie Young fashion show was packed and standing room only (you know I made sure P and I had a seat)!  This show brought out top magazine fashion editors and celebrity kids, like P Diddy's girls who sat front row dressed in her designs. 

JCPenney at #petiteParade Kids Fashion Week

Peyton and I are still coming down off our high from petiteParade Kids Fashion Week.  The production of the petiteParade Kids Fashion Week rivals New York Fashion Week shows!  The lights were bright, the photographers were in place and Miss Peyton was seated in the front row!  I know I sound corny but this experience was amazing for Peyton and I.  She may not remember but being able to enjoy fashion like this with my daughter is a dream come true.  That's what this blog is about.

Peyton and I were totally pumped to sit front row as guest of JC Penney's for their runway show.  Details on Peyton's outfit HERE.   The JCP show featured some of their new and amazing collections for kids that are now available at JCP!   The show featured baker by Ted Baker, Giggle, Disney, Joe Fresh, Total Girl, and Sally Miller.

My number one place to shop right now for fall is JCPenney!  Hands down!  Remember my recent shopping hauls here and here?  Don't sleep on JCPenney!  We were over the moon when Peyton and I were invited as a guest of JCPenney's to petite Parade fashion show during Kids Fashion Week.  Peyton attended the show outfitted in the new baker by Ted Baker line at JCPenney.

Ugg SS14 #petiteParade Kids Fashion Week

If you've been following me on Twitter and Instagram, you saw that Peyton and I jetted off to NYC to attend the petiteParade Kids Fashion Week.  It was seriously a dream come true for us me to attend fashion shows with Peyton.  Some of the top children designers and brands showed at petiteParade during the two day event.  One of my fave brands for myself and Peyton, Ugg Australia showed us there 2014 Spring and Summer shoes.

21st Jeffrey Fashion Cares

The 21st Jeffrey Fashion Cares took over  lobby of the American Cancer Society Center in Downtown Atlanta.  Jeffrey Fashion Cares is the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country and the one of Atlanta's most coveted fashion events!  The event was filled with fashionable Atlanta socialites, stars from Married to Medicine, Big Rich Atlanta and the Atlanta Housewives.

Jeffrey Hosts Fall Fashion Preview

Monday evening I had the honor of attending an exclusive fall fashion preview event at Jeffrey Atlanta in Phipps Plaza.  During the event, guest got a sneak peek at runway looks from the upcoming Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2013, to be held on Monday, August 26th. Jeffrey Fashion Cares annual fundraiser is the pinnacle fashion event in Atlanta.  This annual fashion event benefits the Atlanta Aids fund and Susan G. Komen for the Cure - Greater Atlanta Affiliate. Jeffrey Fashion Cares (Atlanta and New York) has grown into one of the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country having raised over $11 million.  

Global Kids Fashion Week Wrap Up

The first ever Global Kids Fashion Week just went down in London last week!  Children's fashion has evolved and I think it deserves to be celebrated!  Here are a few of the looks that I loved from Global Kids Fashion Week!  Seriously, the boys fashion held it down!

Fashion Uncorked Show for Easter Seals

Saturday, the annual Fashion Uncorked fashion show competition went down at the Americas Mart in Atlanta.  If you did not attend you missed out on an awesome event, benefiting Easter Seals of North Georgia!   Easter Seals helps to aid children and families with special needs and disabilities   You can find more information about Easter Seals HERE.  Fashion Uncorked is a completion between ten up and coming designers to battle it out on the runway designing a evening gown and day wear for women and a children's outfit.

I wanted to let you guys know about Fashion Uncorked!  Fashion Uncorked is a fashion show competition that benefits Easter Seals of North Georgia.  I attended the show last year and it was pretty awesome!  Fashion Uncorked takes place February, 9th at America's Mart.

It's almost here!  The Center for Black Women's Wellness Family Health and Beauty Expo is this Saturday in Atlanta!  I will be hosting the Mommy & Kids Fashion show during the event!

Model Call for CBWW Expo Recap

Saturday, Eboni, Nikka and I had our model call for the 5th Annual CBWW Expo and Fashion shows.  While Eboni and Nikka will be handling the women and plus size shows, I will be hosting the children's fashion show.  The actual show takes place on November 3rd in Atlanta, so mark your calenders!
