I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We had a great time visiting my family in Chicago this week.  I ate so much this week! My future outfits will consist of stretch pants and baggy tees until further notice.  I'm glad that this weeks look for Mamanista Friday is a casual look in Denim on Denim.

I found my fall uniform! You know the outfits that you are easy to take care of, comfortable and always make you look good.  I found mine at J. Jill in their Pure Jill collection.  The Pure Jill is a collection of uncomplicated clothing with a variety for textures and soft fabrics.  Uncomplicated fashion at it's best.

This week has been rough. After my return from LA, I ended up with a sinus infection.  I finally went to the doctor so I'm on my way back up.  I'm trying to hide my pain wearing a this hat for this weeks Mamanista Friday Snicker Chic look.

Best of the Fest with ModCloth

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  I just made it back from L.A. for LuckyFabb.  Even though I was dog tired, I managed to get some pictures of Peyton yesterday.  I put my SD card in the computer and all her pictures were corrupted!  So your stuck with some pictures of me today until I figure out how to fix it.   My few days in LA were action packed!  I had a ball hanging with Danielle from Style and Beauty Doctor and Aracely from Mama Fashion Files.  I couldn't have asked for a better crew to roll with.  Right off the plane, we headed to have lunch and checkout some "Best of the Fest" looks from ModCloth.

Mamanista Fridays: Florals

This year is moving at record speeds!  I can't believe it's about to be March!  When March arrives I tend to move full speed with spring fashions.  This week for Mamanista Fridays we are wearing florals.  Florals are on trend for spring.  I actually own more floral items than I thought. Luxe for Less: Everlane

The older I get I realize that I need to back away from these teeny bopper cheap stores.  My nerves frayed while shopping in these stores with all the “OMG”, “Totes” and giggling going on.   I’m in the fitting room trying on things that don’t fit and asking myself “What am I doing here”.  Moving forward, my goal is to focus on quality and not quantity.  Every grown woman needs to own quality pieces of classic wardrobe essentials like a pair of nice jeans, a great handbag, sweaters and the list goes on.  One thing I've always wanted to have in my closet was something Cashmere!   Once you touch some good cashmere you know why people over pay for this luxury material.  If you are coveting luxurious cashmere and silk pieces for your grown woman wardrobe for a realistic price, Everlane has you covered!

Mamanista Fridays: Winter Plaid
