Pretty in Pink

I hope you all enjoyed your Halloween weekend.  We also got an extra hour of sleep.  But let's keep it real, that extra hour means your kids are just up even earlier.  I was hoping that rolling our clocks back one hour would help me get Peyton into bed earlier but it didn't work. I'll try again tonight.  Peyton had a ball trick or treating with her friends from school.  Oh, and actress Kaira Akita from Tyler Perry's Why did I Get Married (the crazy baby mama) and A Family that Preys (the hilarious secretary) dressed up as Peyton for Halloween.  We're so flattered and she nailed it.  You can see her pics HERE.  Thanks Kaira!  As promised, here is another one of Peyton's looks from Kids Fashion Week in NYC taken by Nasilele Photography.

Click not Clique

Peyton and I had an action packed weekend in NYC for Kids Fashion Week!  I can't wait to share all the pint-sized fashion we witnessed.  You can preview some street style on my Instagram page HERE.  In the mean time, I want to introduce you to Peyton's favorite new accessory, her Click-eez bracelets.

Snapbacks

It's amazing how fast the weekends go by.  I feel like I just got off work on Friday.  Short or long, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  If you don't know by now, Peyton enjoys wearing hats or any head accessory for that matter.  She looks so darn cute in them.  One of the latest trends for little girls that I love are snapback hats.  Our friends at Love My Alannah sent Peyton one of their new floral snapbacks

You Can Shine with Us

I hope you all had a great weekend!  It was way too short!  I planned on getting started on cleaning my closet but that didn't happen.  Peyton ended up having a last minute modeling gig on Saturday.  This baby is on fire!  I twisted her hair for the shoot so she rocked this rocker chic look while we did some running around.

Fall FabKids

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  Mine was pretty business.  I hosted a blogger brunch on Saturday with Lexi with the Curls and that turned out AWESOME!  I got home early Saturday evening to find that Peyton had a fever.  She was still playing and acting like nothing was wrong.  She had a fever on Thursday so I stayed home with her and she was fine Friday.  Saturday evening, we decided to take her to urgent care.  We got some meds and no more fever.  Peyton is a solider, so she'll be back to 100% in no time!

Did you know that their are trends fashion trends in pre-K?  The current trend in Peyton's class is tutus and dresses....EVERYDAY.  FabKids has us covered with their new fall collection full of dresses with legging and skirts!

Twinkle Toes + Cabbage Patches

It's hard to believe that Peyton started school almost a month ago!  I still feel like I'm scrambling making sure she has everything she needs.  Peyton is also taking Spanish and dance classes so the lists of items she needs keep coming!  I'm also still tightening up her fall wardrobe.  Since the weather in Atlanta is still scorching, Peyton has been expressing her back to school style through her shoes.  Her gold Twinkle Toes by Skechers are all the rave in her pre-K class.

Rip the Runway at Bloomingdale's {Video}

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  Peyton and I have been going non-stop since Friday.  Mama is so tired today, hence the late post. On Saturday afternoon, Peyton hit the runway for Bloomingdale's BKids back to school fashion show.

Shoe Shopping Spree with Shoe Carnival

The summer has flown by and August is almost here. You know what that means? It’s time for kids to head back to school. Peyton will be starting pre-k in August and I can’t believe I will have a school age child on my hands. All she talks about is going to pre-k and doing everything by herself, like getting dressed for school. Even though I may shed a tear on the first day of school, I get excited about back to school shopping. Peyton and I headed to Shoe Carnival this weekend to pick up some new kicks for school.

Shorts + Top Knots

I hope you enjoyed your Memorial Day Weekend!  Ours was great!  We surprised my mom by showing up at my sisters house in Indianapolis on Friday.  She had no clue we were coming.  The look on my mom's face was priceless when we walked in.  She hasn't seen Peyton since Christmas.  Peyton was over joyed to see her best friend! While Peyton and I hung out with my my mom and sisters, Mister ran around Indy trying to get a tee time.  It was an awesome weekend!

Mini Panama Hat

I love my Panama hat.  It comes in handy for picnics and at the pool.  I was determined to get Peyton a Panama hat for this spring and summer.  I found one from Gap Kids in February when the snow was still coming down in Atlanta.  Peyton was finally able to take her Panama hat for a spin with her denim Ruum dress.

Rainy Day Chic

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I was happy to have a low key weekend that didn't require me to put on real clothes. Yas!  I've been working on my new Baby Shopaholic headquarters (in my house).  More details coming on the new office coming soon.  Meanwhile, the weather was beautiful in Atlanta!  Even though the rain stopped, it didn't stop Peyton from sporting this fabulous rainy day chic outfit.

Turban Time

Happy Cyber Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend!  Besides working and being on call, ours was great!  I headed out Thanksgiving night for Black Friday, took a disco nap and went back out before going to work on Friday.  Well worth it!  I don't plan on doing much Cyber Monday shopping please check out my Shop Small Business post to find some fabulous items if you are shopping today.  Peyton is sporting some of her new accessories from some of our fave small business owners.

Shoe Haul: H&M Kids

So I kinda went H.A.M on H&M online.  I came across these cute "Chucks" look-a-likes in my local H&M's kids section but the colors and sizes I wanted were not available.  Since H&M launched the online shopping, I've been able to find items that I could not find in the stores.  I also took advantage of 20% off kids sale.

Weekend Style: Shinny Heart

How was your Labor Day weekend?  Ours was very chill.  Other than supporting an event on Saturday afternoon, I just chilled with Peyton and attempted to tackle cleaning my closet (read about it here).  The rain all weekend didn't help with getting outside.  We managed to barbecue on Monday while it was drizzling.  Overall, I enjoyed the much needed chill time!

Check out Peyton rocking another adorable FabKids fall outfit!

Hey Dolls!  I missed y'all!  Sorry for last week!  I will be making up for it this week!  I hope I don't get on your nerves with all the post headed your way! LOL!  Anyway, I am back from BlogHer in Chicago.  It was amazeballs!  Because cause going to BlogHer is so simple and easy, I also hosted a baby shower for my niece on Saturday afternoon in the mist of all of it.  I don't even know how I'm typing right now!

Before I get into all the BlogHer related post I wanted to share with you the 3rd look from Peyton's and I recent photo shoot with Kimberly Murray Photography.  Kimberly challenged me to put together a fun and funky look.  You can't get anymore fun and funky than a mother and daughter duo rocking sequins!

Little Buckets by Bucketfeet

Remember me telling you about how much I loved my Bucketfeet shoes that I received in a gift bag (HERE)?  I pretty much still wear them daily.  To the point that everyone around me says... "You must really love those shoes".  I do!  What could be better than me having a pair of Bucketfeet shoes?.... Peyton having a pair!  Bucketfeet just launched a kids collection last week!
