Summer Beauty Routine

We are half-way through summer!  It has went by so fast! During the summer, we are kicking it outdoors in the hot sun so we have to take extra care of our skin.  I made a few changes from my old routine and trying out some new products for the summer.

I recently started using the Lift Lab Skin Regeneration cleanser.  Since I've been working out and sweating, I like to use a face wash that will leave my face feeling squeaky clean.  I use my Clarisonic Mia on occasion with the Lift Lab but because the wash is so good, I feel I don't need to.
I've been using Dermalogica (c/o) products every since I had my face mapping done this spring (post here).  I use the precleanse at night to rid my face of dirt and makeup.  My pores feel really clean after.  After my using the Lift Lab face wash, I use the multi-active toner spray to prep my face for moisturizer and makeup.  If you haven't found the right moisturizer with SPF, I suggest trying the Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster.  You can add a drop of the solar booster to directly to your face or add it to your moisturizer.
After my face is squeaky clean, I use the Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Eyedration under my eyes and Vichy Aqualia Thermal for my face.  If you have very dry skin, you should give Vichy a try.
I'm in love with my new Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Cream Compact in Tan, with SPF 20.  This compact will still give me sun protection even if I don't use a moisturizer with SPF.  The coverage is light to medium.

How do you switch up your beauty routine for summer?  Have you tried any of these products?

*Some of these products were received for review purposes from Neiman Marcus.  Thoughts and opinions are my own.

  2. Oooh! LOTS of Dermalogica. I use the precleanse and solar defense booster, too. I love seeing posts like these.

  3. So funny, I don't even have a beauty routine to switch up. I do the same all year long. My skin is so dark that I don't really worry about SPF, but I really should. Thanks for the tips!
