It's hard to believe that Diane Von Furstenberg's iconic wrap dress is 40 years old!  Talk about classic style!  Every woman should own at least one DVF wrap dress in their life!

Pandora + Lucky Magazine Event Recap

The Pandora + Lucky Magazine Mother's Day Celebration event in Atlanta was off the hook!  I am so thankful for the wonderful opportunity to co-host the event with Melissa Lum, accessories editor for Lucky Magazine.  Days leading up to the event felt like it was my wedding day! (Sorry Mister).  The rain in Atlanta was non-stop on Saturday but that didn't not keep the guest from coming out!

Saturday night I partied like a rock star with my Aunt (in-law) for her 60th birthday at the fabulous W Hotel.  I finally pulled out my new LBD that I purchased in the fall from Cusp Neiman Marcus.

Peyton Weekend Style in DVF

Hey ladies!  It has been a long weekend and (busy last week).  Let me give you the run down really quick.  Thursday I hosted my first Fashion Event!  I can not wait to share all the details!  It was amazing!!! I am waiting for pictures.  Then Peyton and I jet setted to Dayton, OH to go to my niece's college graduation from Central State University.  And then Sunday we headed to Chicago where I will be for the rest of the week.

 Peyton wore her DVF wrap dress from Gap Kids.  Don't you just love it!  She is wearing her lemon color Carter's sandals. 

 You know its not easy to keep a child contained while they call the graduates' names so I took her out of the stadium and was able to do a mini photo shoot.

It was so nice to have my Mom, sisters and brother all together.  I am so proud of my niece for graduating!  Congratulation Amber!

Weekend Style in DVF

There is just not enough time in the weekends!  I hope everyone had a good one!  Our weekend was action packed!  I managed to take Peyton to one of my BF's baby Elijah 1st Birthday Party! 


Peyton rocked a DVF (Diane  von Furstenberg) top for Gap Kids.  You guys know how in love with this line.   

Peyton's nautical jeans are from Old Navy, $12.  Red Mary Janes are from Target, $5.

Up until til this picture, after we got home, Peyton was not cooperating with the camera.  As much as I paid for this shirt, Peyton decides to have a blowout shortly after this photo and getting it on her DVF!  She normally goes early in the day but of course she had to go at 5pm and mess up her top!  We had a long conversation about how you don't go poopy when you are wearing DVF!

We finally made it to this little cutie pie's first Birthday Party!  How cute is Elijah dressed up as a train conductor for his Train themed party!  Elijah showed up early last year so he was able to attend his own Baby Shower.  Check out his Sip n See HERE.

I was so proud of Elijah's mom for making this train banner with a picture from each month.  Love it!

Baby Shopaholic & DVF Loves Gap

Diane von Furstenburg is an amazing glamorous woman!  Everything she says makes you feel more powerful as a women.  Her clothes make you feel the same way.  I think I got my first DVF dress at like 25 or 26.  Peyton has hers at 20 months old!  Go figure!  The Gap near me opened at 8am.  Guess who was the first one only there at 8am?  I felt weird there was no one else there but folks started coming in after 8. 

I new for sure that Peyton had to have the signature wrap dress!  A little pricey but way cheaper then my DVF dresses!

The dress is actually a skort! 

I wanted the big girl t-shirt in this design.  They didn't have any so I got the onesie.  The salesperson had a great idea, that I could cut and have someone hem it as Peyton grows.  It is pretty long so that should work. 

They even had special DVF bags! 

I really wanted this blazer for Peyton but when I found out it was $80 I had to leave it alone.  Hopefully there are a lot left and I can catch it on a mark down but this stuff is going fast.  I also wanted to get these sneakers that are in the picture but they were online only and I missed the boat.

I am happy with my two items.  I wanted more and could have easily spent a thousand dollars!  That would be just crazy would it!  Did you hit of the DVF for Gap?  What did you get?

DVF Coming to Gap Kids!

I am sure you heard by now that Diane von Furstenberg is collaborating with Gap Kids. Gap is one of my favorite places to shop for Peyton.  I did a triple back flip with a double tuck when I heard that DVF is coming! The line launches March 15!!!

That blazer and the middle dress, Peyton must have!  Just like every woman needs a wrap dress, so do little girls!  Gap will carry baby girl items and little girls sizes 2 to 14.  Don't think that I won't try on a girls 14!

Atlanta Fashion's Night Out

I headed out for Fashion's Night Out in Atlanta last Thursday.  I was invited to the Neiman Marcus party but I wanted to try something different.  So I decided to attend the  Atlantic Station party....  That party was a bust!  It was hard to find wear to go, and instead of wasting miles in my heels I headed to the 2nd party at House of Adrene Boutique in Atlanta.
