Weekend Style: Newsboy

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  After my crazy week, my weekend was low key.  I barely put on any makeup!  I did put on some concealer to go to the mall on Sunday : ).  Anyway... I am kind of excited about Peyton's look this week!
Denim Jacket, Baby Gap/ Shirt, Old Navy/ Khakis and Hat, Target/ Shoes, Walmart/ Necklace, F21

Peyton's look this week is a bit of an androgynous one.  I frequent the boy section for button down shirts. I found this hat on clearance for $5 at Target.  Since it was pink and blue I thought I would see what I can do with it.  I really wanted to put two little pony tails in the back but I twisted up her hair Saturday.  I will do that next time.
I tried a new flat twist style!
I think the key to pulling off this boyish look is to accessorize and add a little pink!  Clothing for girls are sometimes too girly... I know... look who's talking!  But little girls should be able to dress down and rock a hat and still look cute. What do you think of the androgynous look?  Do you dress yourself or little girls in boy clothing?
