I hope you guys has a fantastic weekend. Ours was good. For the next two weeks I will be in party planning mode. Peyton's birthday party is Sunday and Mister's party is next Friday. Please pray for me! In the meantime, Peyton looked like a little Jackie O in this beautiful floral gingham dress I found at JCP.

The Diet Diaries: Workouts + Change of Plans
Slight change of plans.
I've been going hard working out and eating right for the last two
weeks. I waited till Friday morning to
get on the scale. I was 3 pounds
heavier. I was devastated and
immediately went to pick up a chicken biscuit and hash browns. I was upset all day. Everyone I shared this devastating news with
would tell me “It’s because you’re gaining muscle, just stick with it”. BS! I've
totally changed how I was eating, cooking every day (I hate) and working out 4 times a
week. Last thing I need to be doing is gaining. I might as well have sat home eating French fries.
I was in a dark place. I felt like I had wasted two weeks. I was sure I would be down 3-5 pounds by now,
instead I’m going up. Even though I didn't
want to hear my friends try to justify my weight gain, the fact that they cared
enough to listen kept me encouraged. Saturday,
woke up in better spirits and decided to keep pressing forward. I knew I had to make more changes.

The Beatles
I hope you all had a wonderful 1st weekend of summer! Our summer is going to be pretty busy. I have about 15 friends with birthdays to celebrate and that doesn't included Peyton and Misters. Their birthdays are 5 days a part! I'm going to be overwhelmed the next couple of weeks trying to get two parties together. Please pray for me! In the mean time, check out Peyton in a look that we all can rock.

Mommy + Me in Calypso St. Barth
Peyton loves nothing more than to dress like her mommy (besides Elsa and Ana). She calls herself a "fashion girl". She get it from her mama! So when the opportunity for us to dress a like, I oblige. I was super geeked to receive matching tunics for Peyton and I from Calypso St. Barth. I knew my fashion girl would love it.

The Diet Diaries: What to Eat?
Last week I shared my diet and fitness struggle with you. The struggle is real out here! The hardest part for me is eating right. On top of eating right, I don't like cooking. Plus, I don't have the time. I wish I could afford a chef or a fresh meal delivery service. I would loose this weight in not time. Unfortunately, I don't have it like that.

The Diet Diaries
A diet can mean two things. The kind of food a person eats or a special course of food to which one restricts oneself, either to lose weight or for medical reasons. I need to change my "diet" in order to loose weight and to prevent life threatening diseases. I figured I would start health and fitness conversation on the blog. I'm not going to tell you how to lose weight, what to eat and what workouts to do. I plan to share what I'm doing to reach my goals and my ups and downs getting there. I think putting it out there will hold me accountable and maybe help someone else.

Blue Peyton
I hope you guys had a fantastic weekend. Ours was pretty good. I had some technical issues on the back end of blog over the weekend. I'm so not a tech person and I can get frustrated when I don't now what's going on. I just have to take a breath and remember, no one is going to die because my blog is not working : ). Now on to Blue Peyton. Frozen is not going anywhere soon in our house. Everything Peyton does or wears has some relationship to Frozen. She had been begging to wear this Cherokee dress from Target because she would look like Blue Elsa.

Father's Day Finds at Neimans
I still don't believe it's June already and Father's Day is next week! Father's Day has crept up on me. Why is it so tough to shop for men? I really feel they don't care what you get them as long as you let them play golf that day. Any who... I found a few things that Mister may be excited about from Neiman Marcus for well under $200!

At Home Pedi 101 #NMBeauty
A few months ago I was watching a 20/20 (or Dateline) special and they were talking about how bad nail salons were. It totally grossed me out. As if I wasn't already freaked out, they interviewed a lady that had to some of her leg removed because of an infection at a nail salon. Yeah, it feels good to have your feet rubbed but it's not worth me losing a leg. With the proper tools, you can achieve summer ready feet.

Color Stripes
Happy June! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I can't believe that Peyton is going to be 4 years old next month! Boy, how time flies. Even though she looks 13 in these pictures, she is always going to be my baby doll.
