Last Thursday I hung out with some of my bloggy BFF's Eboni, Lexi and Danielle at Whiskey Blue at the W Hotel in Buckhead.  The It's So Miami party was hosted by Miami Tourism (something like that).

We love watching the Housewives Series!  ATL and NYC are my faves!  There are several spin offs to the "Wives" show.  We got Mob, Football, Baseball, X Games, Hip Hop and of course the infamous Basketball Wives!  That is when it all went H-E double hockey sticks!

Play Clothes Shopping

Happy Friday!  Safe travels to everyone over this holiday weekend.  I will be chillin at home!  Can't wait!

I since our Chicago trip I have scaled back on the shopping for Peyton.  I know its only been 2 weeks but that is a long time in our world.  She needed some more play clothes for the summer.  I headed to my number 1 play clothing spots!  Walmart and Target!

Eyebrows 101

I get compliments on my eyebrows but I can't take credit because they are not really mine : ). I do get them threaded but they need a lot of help.  Below are my brows finished and ready to go!  But I will show you how I get here.  Disclaimer: I am NOT a makeup artist I just try to figure out what works for me.

Booze + Ballet + Flowers

Sunday evening was Atlanta Style Bloggers Night Out at the Ballet!  First we boozed at the Artmore Hotel then headed over to the Alliance Theater for the New Choreographic Voice ballet.

This top is the perfect Luxury Essential!  I can throw it on with some leggings and flats to run to the store or take Peyton to play.  I plan to wear it as a cover up to the pool this summer.  Perfect Hampton's chic look!  Maybe I will get invited to a P Diddy party in the Hampton's, I can rock this outfit.

The top has a cotton look but it is 100% linen.  Can you imagine how soft it is?  Normally linen wrinkles like crazy.  I sat in traffic with this shirt over an hour wearing this shirt and it did not wrinkle!

Weekend Style

We hope everyone had a great weekend!  After being out of town for over a week, it was good to just chill out this weekend.  Peyton is back to her old self and fiercer (if that's a word) then ever!

Macy's Brasil : A Magical Journey

Macy's is taking us on a trip to Brasil!  They recently launched Brasil, women, men, home and beauty items inspired by Brasil (Brazil).

You have to head to Macy's stores and online because the clothing is just as HOT as the country!  Just in time for summer!

Glamour Girls Day Spa

On Mother's Day, in addition to feeding my face, I headed over to Glamour Girls Day Spa for the Mother's Day Soiree!  Moms get pampered while spending quality time with their daughters!  Peyton and I didn't participate because I thought she was to young.  But after getting pedi, she may be ready.

Tinsley Mortimer's Southern Charm Event

On Tuesday evening, I had to pleasure of attending designer, author and socialite Tinsley Mortimer's debut book celebration, Southern Charm at Neiman Marcus.  The event was hosted by Hpnotiq Harmonie, so drinks and sweets were bottomless!

 

Doesn't Tinsley look like a doll!  She is beyond gorgeous!  Tinsley shut it down in this one shoulder pearl beaded Alice + Olivia dress.  LOVE!

Tinsley is a sweetheart!  I was able to get a signed copy of Southern Charm.  Her debut book is a modern Manhattan fairy tale with the sparkle of a champagne cocktail, Tinsley Mortimer’s debut novel provides a delicious peek into her world of society, fashion, and big-city fame.

Cupcakes by Cocktail Cupcakes infused with Hpnotiq Harmonie.  Cupcakes + liquor = Amazing!

The drink of the night was Minty Julep!  Want to make one?  We were given bookmarks with the recipe,The Minty Julep: Equal parts HPNOTIQ Harmonie and St. Germain, 1.5 oz Gin, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, Splash of soda with a mint garnish.

The Voice: Peyton Singing on Video

This is too cute!  I just had to share this with you guys.  My baby is just too much.  Check her out singing... not sure of the song but she is singing.  I caught her on video right before bedtime. 

Isn't she a character!  Future super star!  Sorry her room is completely destroyed!

Manicures & Martinis

While in Chicago I tried to spend time with my all my girls.  What better way to have a Ladies Night then to go to the Beauty Bar Chicago!  This place is incredible!  You can have drinks, dance and get your nails done!

I wore a Betsy Johnson Vintage Collection top.  I got this top before I was even pregnant with Peyton and this was my first time wearing it.  Elie Tahari jeans.  Shoes Christian Louboutin.  Earrings from Pretty Girl Glam.  Did you hear that Betsy Johnson is closing it's doors!  According to MSN all the stores will be having sales to get rid of merchandise! 

Look how cute this place is!  It has that old Hollywood glam look.

Getting my nails done while sipping on a martini!

Windy City Mama showed up to hang out with me!  Isn't she a sexy mama!  We had a good time sipping drinks!  Did you peep the hair dryer chairs in the background?

My longtime girlfriend Aiesha came out to party with me.

She showed up with this bag!  I told her if she is carrying that bag, all drinks are on her!  LOL!  Thanks for the drinks Aiesha!  Let me know when I can rent your Hermes!

Weekend Chicago Style

I wanted to say Happy Mother's Day again to you ladies!  I hope you had a great one!

Just I suspected (and checking the weather) Chicago was pretty cool and rainy compared to Atlanta.  It was 80 when we left Atlanta and low 60s in Chicago!  Don't you hate packing for a whole other season?

For the cool weather Peyton is wearing a cardigan by Imoga from Gilt Groupe, tank from H & M.  Levi Bootcut jeans from Marshall.  Leopard mary janes from Target.

While in Chicago, my BBF and I took our girls to get there toes done.  Peyton surprised me and did really well and sat there like a big girl!  Yes that is an blue extension in her hair.  It came with her happy meal.



I can't wait to take Peyton in the future to get her nails done.  Now maybe I can enjoy a pedicure instead of rushing.  Do you take the kids to the nail shop?

Moms Night out with Stilettos & Diaper Bags

Happy Mother's Day the Moms, Grandma, Aunts and Sisters!!!  I hope you are enjoying your day!

Peyton and I finally made it back to Atlanta from our tour : ).  It was a long week but I had to opportunity to meet some of my bloggy pals while I was in Chicago! 

I met up with Super Mom Lisa from Stilettos and Diaper Bags.  We enjoyed a (or two...) drinks over dinner.  We laughed and talked like old girlfriends!  Lisa is so cute and works so hard for her family!  She is truly a Rockstar Mom!  Love her maxi dress paired with moto jacket.
