Behind the Scenes: Fashion UnCorked

I wanted to share some behind the scenes photos from Fashion Uncorked Fashion Show this past Saturday.

I ended up wearing the same thing I wore to the Neiman Marcus event because I started shopping and ran out of time to change! I did switch into my Nine West lace up boots.
My girl and makeup artist Jazmine from Fashion Rouge was doing her thing streaming live for Art Institute with interviews with judges and other celebs on hand!

Birdie from Curvie Birdie and Adrienne, editor of Sadiddy Magazine.
Jessica Black, Miss United States

Beautiful and delicious candy bar provided by D's House of Sweets!
Here is last years Fashion Uncorked winner Angelica Cuervo of ADHC Designs.  She has some incredible original children's designs as well as Women.

Fashion Uncorked is a Jewelry inspired fashion show and this years designer inspiration was T. Howard Jewelry Collection.  Her handmade pieces give you authentic Native American feel with some added Glam!  You must check out her collection.

Here are a few of the Finalist from the 2011 Fashion Uncorked competition.
Shenelle of Fashenelle with her haute hot pink dress!
Leevan, designer of Sebastian Khole and his crew.  That feather detail is bananas!  I need that!

I want to introduce you to my new favorite designer Charlene of Suakoko Betty!  How hot is that blazer that she is holding! Consider it mine! She also designed the skirt she is wearing which I NEED for the spring, summer and fall!  You will here more about her very soon!

Do you wear independant designers?

  9. I ADORE independent designers and "boutique" brands because they are so unique and you won't see yourself coming or going...although a bit pricier..I consider them investment pieces.

  14. Independent designers have some of the best fashions. I think it's because their raw passion and appreciation for their work hasn't been tainted by fame or money.
