Mama's 1st Pair of Louboutins!

Yes Ladies you read it right!  I am now the proud owner of these babies!

They retail for $795!

I am only the owner of these because of this beautiful lady!  Dee and I have been BFFs since I was 9!

I bet you are wondering what happened?  Here is the story:

My girl Dee that lives in the Chicago suburbs (pictured above) called me on weekday afternoon.
Dee: So happy I caught you!
Me: Whats wrong?
Dee: I think I found you some Christian Louboutins!
Me:  Huh?
Dee: I'm at a thrift store!  And there are some here!  I am going to send you a picture.

I get the picture, OMG could it be?  I call her back.

Dee:  I think they are legit! I can't fit them, you want me to get em?
Me: Umm Yeah!

Guess who much she paid for them?????  $7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am thinking, get out there with those shoes as fast as you can!  How could there be REAL Loubs at a thrift store?  I forward the pictures to my other BF that owns a few pair to check them out.  She says they look good!  I'm like YES!  So I patiently wait for Dee to ship them to me.  Here they are!  My second child!

Once I got them I knew they were real.  The soles are leather.  Who puts a leather sole on a fake shoe?  The inside of the shoe is a butter soft leather as well.  But how did they end up in a thrift store.  So I start to do my research. I google "How to Spot a Fake".  Everything checks out.  I still want it to be confirmed so I take them to the fabulous designer consignment shop for them to check out.  They don't see any flaws.  We have a winner! Can you believe it?  I am just so happy they are classic shoes

Mister has been laughing at me shinning and cleaning these shoes.  I am still in disbelief!  I have the most amazing girlfriends in the world that think of me when they find something so amazing.  Love you Dee! Too small or big, I would have chopped off a toe or something to wear these.

So ATL, when you see me out with my $7 Louboutins don't hate : ) Just kidding, but really don't! LOL. What is you most unbelievable thrift store find?

  21. I scored a cute salmon pink leather skirt for $5! It was 1 size too big, but bought it anyway. Tailor charged $45 to alter (whole skirt/not just the waist). It was soooo worth it :-)

  26. I found a Prada bag for cheap (can't remember the exact price, but less than $10) and Rachel Ray's first cookbook from before she was famous for $1.00 and I turned around and sold it on ebay for well over $100! (Got both at Goodwill)

You can get them authenticated on The Purse Forum, in the Louboutin subforum http://forum.purseblog.com/louboutin-shopping/authenticate-these-cls-read-first-page-before-posting-663800.html.

Those ladies are amazing and know their CL's. Just post pics of the insole, the bottom of the shoes where the logo and size are located, and any other close-up shots you can provide.

    I'm so excited for you!!

  35. OMG!!! That is HUGE!!!! I am soooo excited for you!!! And also super jealous!!! Hahahaha!

My best thrift find was a vintage Chanel bag. I love it so much. I was so stunned to find it there, and when i saw it from across the room I practically sprinted over to it. Then i had to chuckle at myself, cuz nobody was even looking at it. I was amazed to find that.

BUT that doesnt top a $7 pair of Louboutins. You lucky duck!! :-)
