Here are some thing I used while pumping that helped tremendosly!
I had the Medela Pump in Style - this thing is a workhorse! I was pumping around the clock every 4 hours for 6 months! I had no problem with it.
This right here... This pumping bra from Pump Ease, was one of the best things that every happened to me! It allowed me to be hands free when pumping. When I went back to work would read magazines, talk on the phone, handle bills etc...This bra was about $30. I got a zebra print one...Spicey! I passed mine on to one of my girl friends.
I stored a lot of milk and the Medela storage bottle were very expensive. I found that the Evenflo bottles conected to the pump and only cost $4 for 4 bottles!
Lansinoh Storage bags. I went through storage bags like it was nobodies business. I found these to be the best ones.
Nuk thin breast pads - These are the thinnest ones out!
Soothing Breast Wipes - so you don't smell like a cow when your done!
I love this little bottle of dish soap! I wash the pump parts with it.
Don't forget to load your pump bag up with:
Baggies (quart size) for dirty or clean pump parts
Disposable clothes to clean parts on the goMagazine or book to read while your in your lactation room
Here are some site I found helpful for Breastfeeding tips and questions:
Kelly Mom
Breastfeeding.com
The Bump Community
I hope these items can help all the new mommies and future mommies to be! Please feel free to comment with your pumping/breastfeeding must haves!
Great tips!! I will need them! Scary!!!
