I love this style of bathroom, especially the sink. Guess who else liked it too?
She decided she wanted to try and walk under it. Very dangerous! So I won't have a sink like that for a while.
The next morning Peyton and I got ready to hit the Magnificent Mile!
Peyton sported a Burberry shirt, $20 on sale at Neimans, and Red Tab Levi jeans that Mister bought. I know, Peyton is crawling on a hotel floor. Trust me I made sure they vacumed and kept washing her up. What else can you do with a mobile baby???
Peyton enjoyed watching all the people walking by.
Then we went to lunch at Eleaven on Ontario with my girlfriend Rae from college.
I am sad to say we didn't really find too much. Nothing for Peyton! Can you believe that? I scored at the XXI store on Michigan, its the biggest Forever 21 store I have seen. I did get a small bag, I will tell you more about that later : )
Normally Chicago has great shopping. I recomend going in the summer during the Taste of Chicago! Thats when Neimans and Saks have the best sales. If you live or have visted Chicago, what are some of your favorite things to do?
sounds like a perfect weekend, I will be there next weekend
ReplyDeleteToo funny!!
ReplyDeleteDid you make it down to State Street? I love that area the best for shopping! Nordstrom Rack, Zara, Filene's Basement, Anthropolgie, Macy's, and TJMaxx. Also the Bucktown/Wicker park area has amazing boutique shopping! Summer is definitely best though for walking around. I hope you stayed warm. Peyton is GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteYour baby girl is so precious!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable blog!!
I love everything in Chicago except the winters! I love shopping, eating especially at Portillos and Grand Luxe, going to the lakefront in the summer and the Taste of Chicago!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Rhonda. Chicago is Fab except for the long excruciating winters. Cute pic of P and Raquel. I need to go shopping on the Mag Mile cause it's been a while.
ReplyDeleteHi Peyton's mom!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I love your blog and your daughter Peyton is absolutely adorable.
I don't want to sound like spam, because I'm not (swear!) but I work for this production company and we're looking for shopaholics. I came across your blog and think you might be great for the show.
Some of our other shows include MTVs True Life, Hogan Knows Best, Brooke Knows Best, My Redneck Wedding etc.. (feel free to check out our website at www.pinksneakers.net)
Anyway, if you think you're a total shopaholic (or if you could pass along the info to a friend who is - haha) I'd love to hear your story! Please contact me at casting@pinksneakers.net or give me a call at 407-464-2080 ext 120.
Thanks! I look forward to hearing from you!
