We Did It! Pictures are Down!

We did it!  Facebook took down my baby's picture from that creeps page!

You don't know how happy and thankful I was to get the email stating the photo had been removed.  The love and support you guys have showed Peyton and I has been unbelievable.  You guys don't know me (besides the blog) and didn't have to do or say anything.  The fact that you did just warms my soul!  I thank God for all of you guys!

When someone violates your children like this perv did you can loose a little faith in people.  You guys have reassured me that there are way more good people than bad!  I thought about shutting down the blog, stop taking pictures of Peyton, just saying bye period.  But all of your emails, comments and prayers have inspired me to keep going.  We can't let one clown stop the show!  I learned a lesson and know how to move forward.

I can't really say what actually triggered FB to finally remove the photos.  All I know is that we did make some noise on this mans account and I was sending emails to any email address I could find for FB.  If you are on FB, I suggest you read over Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities.  Basically, anything you put on FB you are giving them permission to share (outside of your privacy settings).  Since I deleted all the photo's from the Baby Shopaholic Page and my personal, I asked them would that be a violation of my Statement of Rights since the photos were no longer on FB.  Not sure if that is technically a loop hole but we'll take it.

I can't say thank you enough!  You guys ROCK! Love ya!

  2. I am happy that you got it resolved. That is something horrible to have to experience.

I know that I do not have children yet, but in the future, this will make me think twice about posting their pictures.

Hopefully this doesn't happen to you again.

  6. Wow. I never saw that page but would have definitely mentioned it. I did see P go virial a few times but only in a positive light. Glad that was taken care of. I am torn about pictures for the same reason.
