Sizzle Show Down at Macy's + What I wore

Saturday, Peyton and I hit the red carpet for the Macy's Culinary Council Sizzle Showdown.  Six grill masters showed up at Macy's at Lenox Square Mall to compete to be named the next Great American Guru!
Shirt, Zara (similar)/ Denim shorts, Old Navy/ Shoes, Kate Spade Keds/ Cross-body Bag, Marc Jacobs/ Sunnies, Nordstrom

I was excited to rock my jeweled shoulder t-shirt that I picked up at Zara late fall.  Now I have to figure out how to wash it!
The Sizzle Showdown was hosted by Better Mornings Atlanta co-host, Tracye Hutchins.  The competitors were being judged by celebrity chefs  Cat CoraMarc Forgione and Stephanie Izard.  While the contestants were doing their thing, the audience got to sample some incredible dishes, eat ice cream and win prizes!
Leah Lyons from Oklahoma was crowned the Great American Grilling Guru!  Her Sizzled Stars and Stripes Surf and Turf won her the top prize of $10,000 and a trip to NYC!  Macy's Culinary Council events are always the best!  Great people and good food!

Mister has been doing doing his thing on the grill lately using his special rub.  Are you are a grilling guru?  What is your specialty on the grill?

  1. So sad I missed this event. I wish I could have been there. All the Macy's chefs and food look amazing, Peyton is precious as always. I'm back at Everywhere full time after 2 months of maternity leave & hope that I get to see you at the next event!

  2. It looks like it was a fun event! My hubby is a grilling guru, no one touches the grill but him! His chicken kabobs are the bomb!

Love your top, you look casually chic! :) I think you can turn it inside out and wash it in the Gentle Cycle or Hand Wash cycle and it should be ok.

  3. This looked fun! I need to find some events in the bay area. It seems like there's always something going on in ATL. I like the jeweled top. :-) I think maybe you hand wash it or get it dry cleaned? I hope you figure it out!
