Google Nexus 7 Beauty Break

The fine people from Google Nexus gave a few Atlanta bloggers a much needed Beauty Break last Friday.  Atlanta social media mavens gathered at the Drybar in Buckhead for a relaxing blowout while saying connected using the new Google Nexus 7 tablet.

I Heart the Verizon Blackberry Z10

I've had the new Blackberry Z10 on Verizon for a few weeks.  I had a problem with the SIM card and had to get a new one so I am a little behind on trying out the new device.  I told you guys that I was a former "crack"berry addict HERE.  I was very reluctant to let my old Blackberry go to get a new Android or Iphone.  I'm finally getting my feet fingers wet with the new Blackberry Z10.

My biggest fear of trying a new device is that it will not be user friendly.  To my surprise the Blackberry Z10 on Verizon has been very user friendly!  The phone is loaded with videos showing you how to use features.  Anything I wanted to know I could type it in the search (like a mini Google).  The Blackberry Z10 does not have a "home" button.  Everything is done with a swipe.  Swipe up if you need to get to the home screen!

Here are the main screens on the Blackberry Z10.  I love that you can see the recently used apps on one screen.  I hate having to go in and out of apps!

The New Blackberry Z10 on Verizon

I am back again with a new gadget from Verizon!  I am taking the new Blackberry Z10 on Verizon Wireless for a spin!  Yes... I said Blackberry!  I have to admit my heart skipped a beat when I learned I would be getting a new Blackberry!  I'm a former "Crackberry" addict!  It was hard for me to let go of that phone.  Can't wait to see how the Blackberry Z10 stands up to these smart phones!

Put the Kids in a Corner on Verizon WIndows 8 Phone

Is it sad that your phones have to be kid friendly now and days?  I probably should say Parent friendly.  Giving Peyton a phone helps me to shop just a little bit longer or enjoy my dinner!  I was super excited to find out that my Verizon Windows 8 phone has a "Kids Corner"!

I am super excited to be going another round with Verizon as an ambassador!  Since I started the program my personal phone has been switched over to Verizon!  *Knocks on wood*  I am happy to say that I have not had to call customer service one time since I made the switch!  This time around I was pumped to receive the new HTC Windows phone on Verizon!

So did yall watch the BET Hip Hop awards?  You know I was on the Red Carpet but didn't know most of the artist.  But tribute for record exec Chris Lighty (RIP) at the end was beyond awesome with Missy, Fat Joe, Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes ....  I was cutting some rug!  I also loved the Cyphers!  My Verizon Samsung Galaxy IIIS held me down on the red carpet!  Here are some pics that I instagramed from the red carpet on my Galaxy!

Peyton's New Phone from Verizon!

I am super pumped to be one of the Verizon Wireless ambassadors of the south!!!  Why does the word ambassador sound so official, like I have to represent for the USA!  I have never been on the Verizon network so I am happy to give it a run!  The Verizon reps keep all the ambassadors staring out the window waiting for the delivery man so we could find out what phone we were getting!
