Baby Shopaholic: Happy Thanksgiving + Tips For Shopping Black Friday!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We are still here so we have a lot to be thankful for! I am so ready to get my grub on today and shopping on tonight!

I get butterflies in my tummy just thinking about Black Friday! I know some folks fear it but it really not that bad!

Here are a my tips for a successful Black Friday:

Coordinate a team. Call your girlfriends, get your mom, sisters, boyfriend or husband. Having 4 people is preferred. You may have to tag team for bathroom breaks or split up to get multiple items.
Pick up 2 newspapers first thing Thanksgiving morning! I like to see and feel the ads. Look at each one carefully.
Write a list of what you want from each store. Make a second another list giving priority to top savings.
Don't waist your time waiting in line if you are only going to save $5 or $10! It's not worth it. Go for the big ticket items that will save you like $50 to $100.
After you get your big ticket items, then search for your other deals.
Pack some snacks! You may be in the store for 3 or 4 hrs before getting out. You may have to refuel!
Wear warm clothing! Layer up! If you get too cold you are likely to give up!
Depending on the distance, take two cars. You will be surprised how quickly you can fill up a trunk!
If you don't arrive about an hour before the stores open for the "hot" items don't even bother! Most store have only a select # of items and give out tickets to people in line.
Have Fun! I have a good time in the lines talking to people. It makes the time go by fast. Just ask the folks around you what they are planning to buy to kick off the convo!
