Oogieloves Movie Review: Take the Little Ones!

Today is the day that the Oogieloves in The Big Balloon Adventure is in theaters!

You may be tired of me talking about this Oogieloves movie but Peyton is still talking about it therefore I have to : ).  It's been a month since Peyton saw the movie and she still talks about the Oogieloves every time she sees a commercial or a poster!  For a two year old to talk about a movie that long it must be special.

The Oogieloves are special!  The movie is promotes Friendship, Teamwork, Love, Problem Solving and Following directions.  Unlike the current kid movies that promote good vs evil and violence! The movie start with explaining to the kids the signals for them to get up and dance along with the movie and when to have a seat.  It may take the little ones a few times to catch on but trust me they will!

Basically the Oogieloves are planning a surprise birthday party for their friend that happens to be a pillow (LOL).  They get these magical balloons that end up flying away.  So the Oogieloves work together to get the balloons back for their friends surprise birthday party.  So they set out in the town of Lovelyloveville to find the balloons.

Finding each balloon presents the Oogieloves with a new challenge. During the adventure they run into 5 different characters: Dotty Rounder (Cloris Leachman), Bobby Wobbly (Carey Elwes), Milky Marvin (Chazz Palminteri), Rosalie Rosebud (Toni Braxton) and Lola and Lero Sombero (Christopher Lloyd and Jaime Pressly).

This adventure brings lots of singing and dancing which is encouraged throughout the movie! My favorite songs were from Lola and Lero Sombero and Bobby Wobbly! You know I had to get up and dance with Peyton. See the trailer below. Rated G!

Peyton was sent this awesome gift basket from the Oogieloves!  Stickers, crayons, notebook, stamps, ball, coloring sheets bubbles and more.  She tore into everything!

The Oogieloves want to share the love!  Make sure you enter the Oogieloves Prize Pack giveaway!  The gift is valued at $150 and includes an awesome tent! Click HERE!  Ends on August 31st.

Mister and I will be taking Peyton to see the Oogieloves again this weekend.  Who else is going?

*I was sent a gift basket for my support of the film.  Opinions expressed are true and my own.
