Updates on Baby Shopaholic

Happy Friday!!!

This is going to be a random post today.  I have a ton of things going on and guess what.... Peyton has went back to her old ways of sleeping.  She was doing good since we transitioned her into the toddler bed.  Now she is waking up every two or 3 hours trying to get in the bed with us like a newborn!  I am loosing my mind!  Maybe I should just give up on sleep.

I had to include a picture of her cuteness!  It is the only thing that gets me through!  I am going to talk to the Doctor at her 2 year (did I just say that?) visit to see if she has any suggestions.   I think the main culprit is Mister.  He always makes excuses like, she may not feel well, it's Friday (like she knows), she can sleep with us sometimes... etc.   Sister girl is going to have to get it together.  With her sleeping like this make me terrified of even thinking of having a second child!  Rant over...
In other news....

With no Sleep Til Brooklyn, I will be participating in the first Style Bloggers of Color Conference in Atlanta.   I am excited to participate and meet up with other bloggers that will be in town for the conference.  Someone you may know may be in a fashion show this weekend : ).

Can't wait to share details with you soon!  What are you ladies up to this weekend?

  1. My 20 month old has started waking up again too. I'm assuming it's her teeth. Whenever she gets new teeth she doesn't sleep well. It's so crazy!

  2. Peyton is darling but sleeping with a toddler is rough. They toss and turn, feet to the face, and asking for something to drink..all night long.

The princess will grow out of it soon.

  3. I have a now 5 yr old son. Up until now, my son did that on and off till he was about 3 1/2 maybe a little at 4. He was waking up every morning around 3am yelling at the top of his lungs like something was at him (yes the same time EVERY morning) I talked with the Dr. about it an he said that kids go through these growth spurts and most of the time this happens.

  7. This is absolutely a phase. My daughter goes through fits when she does this too and I know a lot of people who said they went through it as well. ((hugs)) - Just when you get used to sleep they take it away again!

  8. My daughter who is now two slept in her crib till she was 6 months because of heat and air conditioning issues we brought her in our bed. She's now almost 2.5 and I started her in her toddler bed this week again. So far so good. We read a story pray then I tell her to get rest so we can play in the morning. She's woken up twice but I take her right back. I sit on the workout ball and pay her back till she knocks out again. The downside she's up by 7-8 when she used to sleep till almost 10 if I let her. I think it's the curtains. I'll be getting fdarker ones lol

We transitioned our 3 yr old to a full size bed and now she either needs me to sleep with her or she has to get in the bed with us. Sigh! Yeah, that 2nd child will have to wait. lol

  12. She's soooo cute! I've given up on sleep in my house so I can totally relate. Everyone is on a different schedule and I never seem to get enough sleep. Good luck girl!
