My "Good" Bra!

Mom boobs are not a myth!  After breast feeding my lovely lady lumps are deflated!  Seriously, they look like saggy water balloons!  I normally get my bras from Victoria Secret but they are just not cutting it.  So I went to Nordstrom's lingerie department and got help from a bra specialist.

She had me try on the Wacoal "La Femme" Molded Underwire Bra.  She said that after breast feeding our breast lose tissue and they fill empty.  She said I needed a left and separate bra.

Here I am with my good bra!  They look good don't they!  You would never know that they would cave in if you touch them.  Now I don't have to contemplate getting a boob job!

Here are some more bra fitting tips:
  • Your bra should fit you on the last hook.  As the bra stretches you can go to the next hook.
  • Don't wear the same bra two days in a row.  Give it a day to rest to keep its shape and support.
  • The bra cup should lay flat on the breast.
  • A great bra should be comfortable!  No pain, no poking or pulling!
I have several decent bras but I want to switch them all over!  That's cheaper then a boob job!  Do you have a "good" bra?  Do you get professionally fitted?

  1. well I bottle fed all my kids so I dont have that problem but I just have a naturally flat chest, but the girls at Nordys fixed that for me, I actually have a little cleavage when I wear a bra they picked out for me:)

  2. I need a good bra because my breast has changed and I'm not the same size. I breast fed too for a year so I know all about the deflated breast. It wasn't until the beginning of this year that the breast tissue came back and my daughter is four. I'm just greatful I no longer have deflated breast lol. I need to check out their selection of bras.

  3. They do look nice! (feel funny saying that!) Do you plan on having more children. I have two and breast feed both for 6 months, so I know the feeling!

Oh lord please don't let them deflate lol I'm going to get some nursing bras soon but after that I want to check out your suggestion. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Intimacy in Phipps plaza. It will cost you a arm and a leg, but cheaper than a boob job. They fit you and everything. I needed them sooo badly after breastfeeding for a year.

  6. I have about 8 good bras. I got fitted one good time and that's all i needed. Now i know what size I REALLY am it makes buying bras so much easier.

    Here's another tip ladies: once you have your girls secured in your Bra, lean forward and adjust them. Literally scoop them up from the bottom and place them into the bra. Until you do it, you have no idea how much of a difference this makes. When i got fitted that's what the woman had me do and it made a world of difference.

  7. Seriously, I thought the mom boobs was a myth, too...unfortunately, it's all too true! I'm totally a different size cup now and have all new bras...I guess it's a blessing and a curse that they aren't that big, so VS can still work for me...yours are still pretty bodacious, girl!!! (c;

  8. hmmph. Mine not only sagged but they deflated majorly. I need pads and lift. I was going to try Intimacy. I just have to get my coins together. I also need to find a good girdle. I'm about tired of this baby pooch and I'm not up for any type of lipo!!

  9. That is a lovely bra, I always wear bras with underwire...it is a must! Surprisingly after breastfeeding my boobs have not suffered and that was a huge fear of mine. But spending money on a good bra is worth it!
