Black Friday Recap

Thursday I got my ads and after Thanksgiving dinner it was study time!  After going through the ads we came to the conclusion that Walmart had the deals that we could not miss.  I usually stay away from Walmart on Black Friday, that crowd can get a little rowdy!

Our Mission:
Me: Convertible "BMW" ride-on car for $99
Tish: 32in LCD TV for $188
Sister Toni: Xbox w/ Kinect $199 plus you get $50 gift card.

My niece and sister got to the store around 7 and I got there at 8.  The sales did not start until 10pm.  So I had to stare at this box for 2 hrs!  There were only 12 and 6 people were already waiting!

When 9:45 hit they allowed us to put the items in carts.  One guy comes up from the back and tries to get one.  Let's just say he was SHUT DOWN real quick!

I grabbed these great deals.  Canopy 600 thread count king sheets for $19.  Shopper Barbie for $5.  VTech laptop $10.  I know Peyton may be too young for the laptop but she loves computers and only wants to play with the real thing, but this has more buttons then the toys she has so maybe she will play with this one.

This was the line at 10:02 pm on Thanksgiving night!  We were all successful on our missions.  Did you go out for Black Friday?  What was your biggest score?

In case you missed it, click HERE to see what I wore on the red carpet!

I never do The Blackest Friday. Three years ago, we were at the GA 400 outlets ready to get our Coach bags & lets say that Jackie Chan & 'nem almost KILLED us for a few of the highly discounted bags. I mean they are little, but was knocking the He!!, out of ALL of US! Well we did manage to get what we needed courtesy of the manager, they brought more from the back. Same thing happened at the CCO. U did get some good deals!

  4. I use to do the black friday thing when my son was born but I stopped it's to much of a hassle. The deals are good but my temper is short so I feel it's best for me to stay away from the ratchedness. You got some great deals.

  5. I never have a list when I go shopping on black Friday. I haven't been in 2 years though because I would rather do my shopping in the outlet malls like Aurora, IL or San Antonio Texas! I will be in the Walmart and Target next year cause I have a child now and I'm sure we can get her some amazing stuff at those locations! I like the BMW car!

  8. You did great! I love that little car! Hubs and I were talking about getting baby boy a car last night for his first birthday! (yes, I am already planning it) Anyway, I did not go out for black friday. Too many people out like that gives me anxiety and is not my idea of fun. I have done most of my shopping online and I must say, I got some great deals! Does that still count?

  10. I didn't do ANY black friday shopping. I know Peyton is going to love that car. Can't wait to see pictures of her in it looking like a celebrity.

  11. I didn't do any Black Friday shopping this year. And yes the Walmart crowds are rowdy. I experienced a horrible Walmart crowd on Black Friday two years ago. Never again! But you got some amazing deals and I love that you had a plan and then put it into action. Nice! :-)
