I can't hold it in anymore!  I am a stalker!  I have been eyeing this bag since I heard about them on the Broke Socialite blog in June.  But I have suppressed my feelings since then.  My current obsession...

Just when you thought it could get any better.... It's actually a laptop bag!  WHAT!  Bananas!

So I didn't feel that I had a use for it besides just carrying a HOT bag.  Now, I will be attending some conferences (more about the conference coming soon) so what better way to show that your are a super Smart and FLY woman with this bag!

Mixbook Photo Book Review and Giveaway!!!

Mixbook.com an online company where you can make Photo Book, Cards, Calenders and more!  They offered me complimentary photo book to try the service.  Perfect timing for me because I just had Peyton's Birthday party.  So I tried it out. 

Here are the highlights of using Mixbook:

• Easy sign up process
• You can pull photos from Facebook, Smugmug, Picasa and more!  And of course you saved files.
• You can invite friends and family to work on a photo book with you, so no emailing back and forth.
• Super easy to start book, I just clicked on the book I liked in the Birthday section
• Once you upload photos you want to use, just drag them to spaces in the book, or you can let mixbook do it.  I choose to move my own.
• You can edit ANYTHING on the book, even on the layout you chose.  Just click on it.

Here are some of the challenges I had:

• You have to delete extra pages.  I selected 20 page book and it gave me like 30, so I had to delete them so I would not get charged for them or end up with blank pages.  Now, I could have missed a step, but still.
• Save often!  I doesn't auto save and I would go back and a page would not be updated.  I manually saved after each page.

I know making a photo book can be intimidating but if you get you photos organized it can be super easy.  I uploaded my photos.  Here is the final product!

Peyton's Weekend Style

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  Mine was action packed as again!  Saturday Peyton and I went to the pool.

This bathing beauty is wearing a swim suit from Old Navy that she got for her birthday with her Hello Kitty shades from H&M.

Peyton wore this to the mall on Sunday.  She is wearing a white t-shirt with her Old Navy shorts.  I was trying to wait for fall for Peyton to rock a scarf but I was inspired  by Needle and Nest to try it in the summer.  Her scarf is not even a scarf, its a headband scarf, so I just put it over her head.  I got it from Dollar Tree! Her shoes are from Carters.

My New Sole Sister!

These are incredibly comfortable and nude matches everything!  Plus word on the internet  street is they make your legs look longer!

I really was planning to get some nude Louboutins  but since these were FREE they fit the bill for now!  Will you be rocking nude pumps this fall?

Peyton's Got the Blues

Last week Peyton and I hit up the Old Navy kids jean sale.  Kids jeans were $10 each.

We got these "skinny" jeans.  Too bad they are not skinny.  I returned them for a different size.

We also go some boot cuts!

I have only been to Kohls a few times in my life, but a couple of coworkers when and came back telling me about all the good deals they have right now.  So I left work immediately!

This skirt was $2.  She can wear this in the fall with leggings.

I grabbed these fabulous items for next to nothing.

I got this scarf for me for $2

Jeweled flip flops for $4.  I know summer is almost over but I can wear them around the house.

Atlanta Tastemaker Magazine Party

I was invited by Mimi from Lipgloss and Binky to attend the Atlanta Taste Makers Magazine party on Friday.  Mimi is a contributor to the lifestyle magazine!  Go Mimi!  Make sure you sign up!

The event took place at 866 Rooftop!  Amazing place!  It was outside so I was scared the makeup was going to melt off my face but it ended up being a nice night.

Don't I look like a "Dream Girls"!  I just sung (like J Hud when I wrote that!).  This dress was kinda short.  Glad Mister wasn't around when I left : )

Shoes courtesy of my shoe guy!  Paid about $25 for them and few years ago, 2nd time wearing them.  I know why this was the 2nd time!  My feet ran out of gas after about 1 hour.

I had to take a picture of the faucet!  I would love to have one like this when I grow up!

They were giving away a HP Smart Phone to one lucky person.  Guess who that lucky person is?  ME!!!!  Yep, I won a phone.  #allIdoiswin.  Too bad I just got a new HTC Sensation (LOVE IT).  I am trying to find a good home for it : ).  I wish it was this HP tablet like the HP rep is holding...  Maybe next time!

I hope yall don't hate me for all my winnings lately!  Wait till I win the lotto... then you can hate : )  I love yall!

Runway Red Fashion Show

Warning fly kiddie overload in this post!

On Sunday I attended the Runway Red Fashion show benefiting Show Me the Way Foundation at the lovely Fernbank Museum in Atlanta.  I wanted to take Peyton but she would have ran on the runway or climbed the dinosaurs!

RUNWAY RED is our charity fashion gala featuring pint–size socialites, mini-me movers and shakers and their well-known celebrity parental escorts. As part of our ongoing fundraising program called CAMPAIGN RED, Show Me the Way Foundation transformed “making a difference” into a family affair by adding RUNWAY RED into this initiative as a way to create exposure and raise imperative funding for children infected by or affected with HIV/AIDS.
Presented by Dream Kids and Macy's this event was OFF THE CHAIN!

Look at the back drop of this fashion show!  This is also the same place where Cynthia Bailey got married from the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Amazing!

Look at these little cuties!  Not much taller then Peyton.  I didn't catch the name of the group, but I am sure they are HOT! ***Update they are the Sh'Boss Boys from Americas Got Talent!***

There were a ton of other celebs and Atlanta socialites at the event.  Hopefully Peyton can walk in the next one!
