Mamanista Fridays: Booties

I always rush season changes, especially fall because it's my fave!  I'm so ready for fall I don't know what to do! I almost feel like staying in the house until it's 60 degrees out.  I'm tired of my wearing tank tops and painting my to nails.  I just want to wear boots and cute jackets.  Mama Fashion Files and I thought it would be great to incorporate some transitional pieces for Mamanista Fridays.  We pulled out our booties, a fall must have!

Summertime LBD

Last night I went to the Beyonce and Jay Z concert.  It was more than I could have ever dreamed of!  I'll share more about the concert soon.  Right now I can barely keep my eyes open but I wanted to share a LBD (little black dress) I wore to the Adorn Media Group roof top launch party last Saturday.

If you follow me on Instagram, you would've gotten a sneak peek at what I wore to LuckyFabb in LA.  Dressing for a conference can be a little stressful, especially a fashion conference.  Instead of trying to do something crazy and out of the norm, I decided to wear something that would be comfortable and flattering with some super cute shoes.

Best of the Fest with ModCloth

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  I just made it back from L.A. for LuckyFabb.  Even though I was dog tired, I managed to get some pictures of Peyton yesterday.  I put my SD card in the computer and all her pictures were corrupted!  So your stuck with some pictures of me today until I figure out how to fix it.   My few days in LA were action packed!  I had a ball hanging with Danielle from Style and Beauty Doctor and Aracely from Mama Fashion Files.  I couldn't have asked for a better crew to roll with.  Right off the plane, we headed to have lunch and checkout some "Best of the Fest" looks from ModCloth.

Suakoko Betty Available at Belk + #Giveaway

One of my favorite designers, Suakoko Betty just landed in Belk stores!  I've been raving over Suakoko since I met the designer Charlene almost two years ago (here).   I said that her designs will be in stores soon and guess what? They are!  I'm so proud of her!  Her designs are so awesome so it was only a matter of time.  To celebrate Suakoko Betty is giving away this awesome clutch!

It's been a rough week in Atlanta with all the snow and ice.  Peyton has been out of school since Tuesday so it has been challenging try to manage work (my job never closes) and entertain her.  But it's Friday! What I Got from the Phillip Lim Target Collection

Just when I thought I was over the designer collabs with Target, I got sucked back in!  I've had my eye on a few Phillip Lim handbags for a while, trying to hold out for Santa (Mister).  I was hoping that the Target collaboration will help curve my appetite.  My girl Danielle from the Style and Beauty Doctor was able to get her hands on a couple of Phillip Lim Target bags during NYFW before us common folk could.  She posted a few of her bags and I made up my mind that I was going to try and get one.  Peyton and I pulled up to Target at about 8:05 am on Sunday.  No line at my store at all.  Matter of fact, there was only about 15 people there but the items were moving fast!

Style Me Friday: Gray Tee

Happy Friday!  This is the last Friday in June! OMG!  Peyton's birthday is next Sunday and I'm knee deep in DIYs for her party!  I'm so happy this weeks Style Me Friday look was simple,  agray tee.  I have a ton of those!  I love gray!

The New MCM

I was in Bloomingdale's last week, trying to rush out to meet some girlfriends for dinner, but I was stopped dead in my tracks!  I rolled up on the new MCM collection.  When I think of MCM, I think of British Knight and Salt n Pepper!  But boy how things have changed!
