It all started with a fabulous brunch at the 5 star Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Buckhead and then stepping outside to learn more about Lincoln’s first-ever small premium utility vehicle, the MKC.

Oprah and her posse took over Atlanta (aka Olanta) last weekend for the Life You Want Weekend.  I’m still all in my feeling after attending Oprah’s Life You Want Weekend.  I just want to hug everybody, well not everybody but you know the feeling.   With work and mommy duties, I wasn't able to attend the kickoff events that Friday.  I got my butt up super early Saturday morning to make my way to hang with Oprah for the day.   I’m not going to go into crazy details about the event other than it was AMAZING.  But I do want to share my some of my “Aha!”  moments with you.

Mister's birthday party came and went.  We had such a fabulous time, our friends and family are still talking about it.  I called myself planning early so I wouldn't be overwhelmed.  #WRONG.  A few weeks before the party I started to freak out and have nightmares that people would show up and I would have a bonnet on my head, wearing ratty sweats and a t-shirt.  I started venting on twitter.  After my rant, I got an email from Hester, the owner of Park Avenue Events saying she would like to help me out with the event I was planning.  Look at Gawd!

Take Flight with #FordATL

Last weekend, Ford hosted a Take Flight with Ford party at a private airport hanger in Atlanta.  Ford pulled out all the stop.  Upon my arrival, I test drove one a Ford Escape a few miles then into the party into the airplane hanger and was greeted by these sexy stewardess.

During Mom 2.0, Nicole from Mom Trends hosted an amazing brunch featuring the new Aladdin Mason collection.  I hosted an Aladdin Mason party at my home a few weeks ago (HERE) but it had nothing on this southern lunch.  I had to share a few photos of the beautiful decor set up by Party Blue Prints using the Aladdin Mason collection.

Fall Preview at Carter's + OshKosh Headquarters

Another one of my (kid) fashion dreams have come true!  I had the privilege of spending the afternoon at the headquarters of largest children's apparel company, Carter's and OshKosh B'gosh!  Can you believe they are headquartered in Atlanta and Peyton and I don't have a key card? Of course, I was more than happy to attend Carter's insider event during Mom 2.0.  

Bloomingdales + Atlanta Women's Foundation

One in four single moms living in the Atlanta metro area live below the poverty line.  Everyday 81,000 women and girls wake up in poverty.  Across the country, poverty rates for women are higher than men.  The Atlanta Women's Foundation is on a mission to help change the lives of women and to end generational poverty.  I recently had the honor of recently participating in a Bloomingdale's fashion preview and shopping event that would support the Atlanta Women's Foundation.

Macy's Spring Fashion Event

Atlanta Baby & Child Expo April 26th + Giveaway

I'm a big fan of baby expos.  You know why?  Because I went to one when I was 8 months pregnant and won an amazing stroller and car seat from Britax!  You never know what could happen at these events!  So I wanted to let you know that Atlanta Baby and Child Expo is coming to the fabulous Fox Theater on April 26th.  Yes, Britax will be in the house!  I'm giving one mom two passes to head to the expo.

Best of the Fest with ModCloth

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  I just made it back from L.A. for LuckyFabb.  Even though I was dog tired, I managed to get some pictures of Peyton yesterday.  I put my SD card in the computer and all her pictures were corrupted!  So your stuck with some pictures of me today until I figure out how to fix it.   My few days in LA were action packed!  I had a ball hanging with Danielle from Style and Beauty Doctor and Aracely from Mama Fashion Files.  I couldn't have asked for a better crew to roll with.  Right off the plane, we headed to have lunch and checkout some "Best of the Fest" looks from ModCloth.

Welcome to Spring #AladdinParty

Regardless of the weather, Spring is here!  Before you know it, it will be summer, than back to school.  Work and events can get in the way of connecting with friends.  I was happy to take the time out to host a Welcome to spring party with a few of my girlfriends featuring the new Aladdin Mason collection.  

Fashion Blogger Pop-Up Shop in Atlanta

Being the shopaholic that I am, I have way too much stuff.  New shoes have to wait in line for their turn.  It's so sad.  Lucky for you (if you wear a size 7.5 or 8) I'm teaming up with some fabulous Atlanta fashion bloggers for a pop-up shop at the W in Buckhead on April 12th.

Partying with Babiators

Last week, we had such a great time at the Babiators launch party for the spring collection at the Baby Braithwaite store in Buckhead.  Since we were checking out the new Babiators shades, I thought it would be fitting to wear this bright yellow dress.
