A Trend We All Can Wear: Black & White

Happy Friday!  I have a crazy, busy weekend ahead (that's a whole other post).  If you haven't noticed, I'm super excited for fall.  I love every fall trend because they are pretty simple and don't require you to shell out tons of cash.  But if you're like me, you are probably going to shop anyway.  Recent trends were all about color and patterns but this fall Black is Back!  I love wearing black but felt like I couldn't because the fashion world was screaming "Add some color!".  Check out some fabulous items on my wish list.

Winter Florals

I have been frequenting Forever 21 lately and have managed to find some cute stuff!  I was super pumped when I found this black floral blazer on clearance for $15!  The fit was so nice that I wanted to wear it asap!  I know spring is not here yet but because the blazer is thick and black I thought it would work.  I rocked it to the Fashion Uncorked Fashion Show.

Back to Football Party in NYC!

Sorry for the lack of post this week.  I just made it back from a world wind week in NYC with my girl Tamara from Blitz and Glam!  I am so honored that she asked me to share in this great opportunity for the Back to Football events.  It was also NYFW so I attended Lucky Fabb where Rachel Zoe was a speaker and a few fashion parties before I returned yesterday.  A lot of my fellow ATLiens came to NYC for fashion week.  ATL crew is still there going to great shows and parties!  I have a TON of stuff to share with you guys!  So the post are going to be Bananas!!!

I was super pumped when I was invited to Rent the Runway's Atlanta Party this week!  If you have been following me for a while you remember when I had a hard time finding a dress for Mister's movie premier back in the fall.  If not you can check it out HERE and HERE!  Rent the Runway saved the day!

Stand Up for Family in Rachel Roy

Friday, I attended the American Family Insurance Stand Up for Family Comedy Tour private reception.   Thanks to Bag Ladies Radio that allowed me to attend and represent for them, thanks Erin!  Stand Up for Family is a family friendly comedy tour hosted by actor/ comedian Bill Bellamy.

Booze + Ballet + Flowers

Sunday evening was Atlanta Style Bloggers Night Out at the Ballet!  First we boozed at the Artmore Hotel then headed over to the Alliance Theater for the New Choreographic Voice ballet.

Mama Loves Prada Flame

I know some folks are on the fence or think these Prada shoes are over the top.  I don't care what anyone says, I love this Prada Flame shoe line!

This line is one of the most creative and wearable shoe line I have seen in a while.  What do you think? Would you rock them? Like if they were 75% off?

Neiman Marcus Spring Trend Preview

Saturday afternoon I was invited by Neiman Marcus to for their Spring Preview event with style advisor Dave Ferguson.  Before you go any further, get a napkin for the drool and lock up or don't your wallet! It's about to get real crazy!

Here is one of  the accessory tables.  One of each please!  Bright bags are the rage for this spring!  That pink Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is calling me!

Do you guys remember that #winning streak that I had a while back?  Well, it's BAAACK!  Check out my lastes WIN!

Yes! I won a Tiffany & Co. necklace from Mary and Dryer!  I almost passed out when I saw the tweet!  It arrived on Christmas Eve!  What a great Christmas present!  Thanks Mary and Dyer! I just love awesome giveaway!

I went to the Prada Holiday Party last month.  Well they ran out of swag bags and took down my address and said they would send something.  Of course I thought... Yeah, right!  This arrived the Friday before Christmas!

Two Prada bracelets!  The retail value is well over $300!  Thank you Prada Atlanta!  Mister answered the door when the package arrived and looked at me like I was crazy when he saw it was Prada!  "What did you order!"   Naw babe, it's swag!

So between these awesome thrift finds and winnings, God must be trying to tell me to stop spending money!  I'm listening!!!

Prada Grand Opening Holiday Party

Last week I was fortunate to be able to attend the  Prada Grand Opening Holiday Reception at Lenox Mall benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta!  *faints*

My New Years resolution is to get this bag!  Not by this New Year but next New Years : )



 Kelly from Kelli Flournoy PR and I.  I felt so under dressed!  My motto normally is "Better to be over dressed then under".  I did not listen that night!  My blouse is from Express and corduroy skinny pants are Lauren Conrad for Kohls.  Shoes are from Shoe Dazzle.  Bag is Marc Jacobs.

The party was "Off the Hook"!  Let me say that Atlanta has some serious style!  But the fashionistas of the night go to the fabulous Men that were there!  They put Brad Goreski (from Rachel Zoe) to shame!  Special thanks to my girl Danica for the invite!   Just a heads up there are so many parties going on so you will be seing more event post.  I am one tired Mama!
