Being the shopaholic that I am, I have way too much stuff.  New shoes have to wait in line for their turn.  It's so sad.  Lucky for you (if you wear a size 7.5 or 8) I'm teaming up with some fabulous Atlanta fashion bloggers for a pop-up shop at the W in Buckhead on April 12th.

Confessions of a Shopaholic: Closet Clean-out

I hope you guys are having a great Labor Day Weekend!  Since we had a long weekend I thought it would be a good idea to clean out my closet.  I didn't even get started and was already overwhelmed!  I'm pretty good at purging with each season but now I feel there is just too much and will not get done in one weekend.  I don't even want to bring anything new in until it is clean.

I will be getting rid of a ton of stuff.  I posted this picture on instagram and someone suggested that I use Poshmark to get rid of some stuff.  If you wear between 7 to size 8 in shoes you may be in luck.  I will be posting clothes soon.  Please follow me, babyshopa, on Poshmark to keep up with my closet clean-out.  Do you use Poshmark?  Leave your Poshmark name in the comments so I can follow you.  Please share your closet cleaning tips!

If you didn't tune in to Bagladies Radio show last night for our Shopping Confessions chat, boy you missed out!  Not only did we all dish about our not so good shopping habits but Bobbie Thomas, style editor of the Today show joined in on the chat as well!  Maj!  Lucky for you, you can listen to the show on demand on Bagladies.com 

During the show, Bobbie shared with us how she loves retail therapy and that every lady should treat herself!  She said that therapy doesn't mean going out and splurging on expensive items.  It could be just a pair of earrings, a scarf or cruising the thrift store!  Something that makes you happy!  I like how this girl thinks!

Prabal Gurung for Target: What I Got!

Happy Friday!  Earlier this week I did a guest post for Hartlyn Kids!  I am far from any kind of expert but I shared some of my blog branding tips.  Please head over and show your girl some love (HERE)!

If you follow me on instagram you got a sneak peak of some of the items I was digging from the Prabal Gurung collection for Target.  I got to Target at about 10am on Sunday, the store opened at 8am.  To my surprise only half if not more of the collection had already been sold!  The pieces I was interested in were not available at my store.  I must say the shoes are the best part of the collection!  If you have any interest in the shoes, I say go for it!

Walmart Shopping Spree

Yes, I am still shopping like a crazy person for Peyton's fall clothes.  Going to school 5 days a week made me realize that Peyton did not have enough cute play clothes.  I picked up some cute Back to School outfits from Sears (here) but she still needed more.  My go to spot is Walmart Garanimal line! Super duper cheap! 

Fall Finds at H + M

I told you guys I have been shopping like a crazy women for Peyton for fall.  I ducked in H+M last week and picked up a few things!

Mama's Old Navy Haul & $8 Dresses!

This is the season that Old Navy has their Saturday Super Sales!  If you follow me on Twitter and Facebook you would have saw me posting about Old Navy's Saturday Old Navy $8 dress sale.  Peyton and I arrived at Old Navy about 9am on Saturday to check it out.

I was hoping that there would be several styles that were $8 but it was just this style in different colors.  This dress is perfect for running around with Peyton on the weekends or going to the pool.  Just throw on an go!

I like the turquoise dress but I only purchased the black.  I am trying not to buy multiples of items because one of them only gets worn.

Not only did Old Navy have $8 dress but they also had 40% off select clearance!  Jackpot!  Peyton got buried alive with all the deals I found.

Here are the items that I brought home.  I got 4 tanks, 4 tops, one midi skirt, one sweater, 2 dresses, pair of skinny jeans and a pea coat for my mom!

Here is one of my favorite tops that I purchased.  I almost for got about it because I came home and put it on Saturday for a afternoon date with Mister.

Confessions of a Shopaholic: Closet Update

Last weekend, Peyton and I were hard at work trying to clean out my and Mister closet.  My closet was such a mess so I did not take any before pictures.  You know it had to be a mess if this is the after picture! LOL!

I switched out my fall/ winter shoes with my spring summer shoes.  I still have some shoes in boxes above the clothes and some piled in the corner on the right.  I thought I had a lot of shoes but I really don't compared to my girl Eboni from Fashionista Next Door!  She posted on FB that she had like 150 pairs!!!  My sister wears the same size as me so she gets most of my shoes after I am over them. 

These two jumbo 40 gallon tubs are currently filled with winter clothes that I took out.  I usually move them down to the garage.

I didn't have much that I wanted to donate.  I figured I wouldn't because I purge at the change of each season.  

I still have a few pair of shoes that I haven't worn and don't plan to.

These Vince Camuto shoes are one of my fave pair of shoes.  They were tight size when I purchased them before I had Peyton, after going up a half a size I would kill myself if I wore them.  Maybe I can find a shoe doctor to stretch them out or something.  Let me know if you have any tips.

Shopping in my closet isn't that bad.  I am discovering new things every day : )   Since we mentioned shoes, how many pairs of shoes is too many?

When Mama Shops Again

I have not purchased any clothing or shoes since my declaration of no shopping last week.  I did break down and buy some jewelry on Friday.  What had happen was.... (lol) A girl in my office sells jewelry and she brought them over to me and put all this cute stuff in my face!  I couldn't help it!  Now I am reading more magazines and looking around on line.  I don't know if that is helping since I have a running list of what I want.  Hopefully I will get over the hump but in the mean time here are some things I can't wait to buy when I shop again.

 Tory Burch Robinson Satchel - I saw this in Luck Mag and I can't stop thinking about it.  I think I could carry it all year.

 Mango White Bootcut Jeans - I have some white skinny jeans but I think I need a nice bootcut.

French Connection Jag Stripe Dress- I know stripes is a no no if you are trying to look skinny but for some reason I feel this may break that rule. 

 New York and Company Peplum tops - only $30!

 Delias Floral Skinny Jeans - Yes I am getting on the floral jean train!  How cute would this be with the white peplum top!

Rachel Rachel Roy Satchel - I am mad because I don't have this yet!

I'm Giving Up Shopping

For myself until Easter!  April 8th!  I guess this is like a late Lent .  I woke up this morning thinking that I have too much stuff and I keep buying more.  These blogs don't help either! I want everything!

How much is too much???  My closet has gotten out of control. 

Yeah, there is more under those shopping bags!  A few new boxes stacked up and to the right....

Can you believe I also share this closet with Mister!!!  You don't even notice his section when you walk in.  He is not allowed to go past his section.  I think he needs to get the boot because I could use the space!

Not to many on the top, those are ones I plan to get to that have only be worn once or new....
I finally went thru clothes and shoes.  I have not done this for almost 2 years!  Being pregnant and not knowing what I would be able to wear in when makes it difficult to purge.

I found several pairs of shoes that were never worn or only worn once!

These are one of may favorite pair!!!  These are linen with a painted silver bottom! I don't think it would be cool to touture myself trying to rock them.

I have several more that I can part with.  I used to wear 7, now I am a 7.5!  Not too bad!

So if you wear a 7 and see something you really like... Holla at cha gurl!  I plan on putting them up on Ebay soon.  BTW,  Ebay is a great place to sell gently worn shoes!  Because I don't spend too much on them I can almost make the money back to buy new ones.
