A new "Family" boutique has arrived in Atlanta!  Abby & Co. held their Grand Opening party on Monday.  I'm totally in love with Abby & Co.  If this blog was a store it would look just like Abby & Co.!  Seriously, it's a one stop shop for fabulous moms!  Abby & Co. carries the trendiest clothes for the little ones, hard to find toys and baby gear, gifts for your girls, and fabulous clothes for the moms!

Lily Kai Vintage & Vino Party

Last Friday I attended the Lily Kai Vintage and Vino Party.  Lily Kai is an online vintage boutique with some awesome pieces.
I am wearing a leopard top from Love Culture.  Jeans are ElieTahari.  I just picked up this Dalia Collection moto jacket from the consignment shop that always talk about for $35! Airplane ring and earrings from Pretty Girl Glam.  Shoes from my Shoe Guy.
Co-host Mattie from Mattieologie , helping ladies pick out items.
Beautiful Host and owner of Lily Kai,  Kristen working it in this fabulous fur jacket!
Curvie Birdie found a St. John cardigan at the event! Lucky duck!
Here I am with the jacket off.  I love this top but it does not photograph well.

I picked up this gorge pearl and gold necklace!

I also purchased this beautiful shell necklace with gold chain.

Check out the incredible detail on the shell!  NICE!!!  I also picked up a beautiful dress that I hope to wear soon.  Have you been vintage shopping lately?

Swapping with Tia from If I were a Brit Girl and Lexi from Curls Coils and Kinks

Swappers waiting patiently for swap room to open!

Alaina and Kerrie.  Alaina is rocking a Mod Cloth blue leather coat I picked up during the swap but I could not fit it!  Headed back to Zumba stat! It still had tags on it!  Kerrie brought it to the swap.

I managed to grab a few tops during to swap.  I will show them to you soon along with my other thrift finds!  Did you participate in World Swap Day?

Also linking up with Monday Mingle with Glamamom!

Happy Hour Thrifting! Not Gonna Believe What I Got!

Last night Peyton and I decided check out Happy Hour Thrifing with Karen of Two Stylish Kays and Kerri from Virtuous Styls.  These jazzy ladies are experts in thrifting and you can use their styling service to assist you while you shop or just shop for you completely!

Kerrie found this cute, and I think new Mango dress for $2.50!  This line is currently sold at JC Pennys!

I found this wonderful black beaded jacket for $8.50.  I know that is expensive in a thrift store but these are going for $200 or $300 and more and the quality is not close to this.

I found this Hermes scarf for $2!  Bah- nan- nas!  This scarf retails for $400!  Now I just need to find a bag in a thrift store.

I got a 3 more dresses and a navy blazer.  I spent a total of $25!  What a great way to start off the year!  I am still not sold on thrifting for Peyton unless it has the tags.  I know...  But at least I find great deals for her.

Have you found any great thrift finds lately?

Tristin and Tyler Tales from the City!

I am about to introduce you guys to the cutest, flyest, little earth saving twins Tristin and Tyler!

Tristin (L) and Tyler are 7 year old New York City twins that love to find ways to save the earth in their series "Tristin and Tyler's Tales from the City"  The short films star the these handsome young men in their adventures of learning about ways to be green in the City! Produced by their supermom Tiffany, these videos are great for both kids and adults to watch to learn more about saving the planet!

Not only are they saving the world but they look FLY while doing so!

Whether they are checking out cool "green" products or learning how the subway works, each episode teaches kids something about the big city around us or is just fun "edu-tainment."  Make sure you pay attention because Tristin and Tyler may quiz you on key parts of the episode!

We can learn about a lot from Tristin and Tyler about being green.  Plus they are just so darn cute!  Please head over to thier newly remodeled site and subscribe to keep up with "Tristin and Tyler's Tales from the City".  Also "Like" Tristin and Tyler's Facebook Page.  Where do you get your tips on being green?

Designer Consignment

I hit up The Finer Consigner in Johns Creek. It was like a Saks Fifth Ave return center!  Soon as I walked in I got hit in the face with Christian Louboutains, Gucci Boots, Chanel bags and Burberry trench coats! Dude, it's in walking distance from my house and I have never been in! This place has so many great things! If you are ever in Atlanta and want some red bottoms for half the price this is the spot. I will be getting my first pair from here.

I have been wanting this bag for like 5 years!  And it is here!  Problem is the seller is still asking a lot for this bag and it looks good but you can see she used it a lot.   Please pray she has a change of heart!

I love this suede Chanel bag.  It's really in great shape, this picture makes it look discolored but it is not.

They had several David Yurman pieces.

Brand New Louis Vuitton booties.
Those cork Louboutains have never been worn!
This boutique also has a authentic guarantee!  So if you go to Chanel and they tell you it is not real they will give you all your money back.

I made an investment in these bad boys!

These are Christian Dior Mary Janes!  These caught my eye when I was walking out the door!  I am just going to say you guys are probably going to get tired of me wearing these.
Look at the bottom.  It doesn't even look like they were worn. I needed to invest in some  nice shoes.  They retailed for $825 but I got them for a small fraction of that price : ).

This "Green" shopping is working out nicely!  Between thrifting and Consignment you can really "Ball" on a budget.  What do you think?  Do you shop at consignment?  Do you consign?  Do you have any Gucci's you want to get rid of?  Email me : )

Here is what you all have been waiting a week for!  The winners of the Floppy Hats!!! Here they are!

Single Mothers Journey
Natalie - Designer Bags and Dirty Diapers
Jill - Glamamom

Congrats Ladies!  Please email me with your mailing address.

So I got my "Green" shopping on this past weekend!

Inspired by all my new found thrifting bloggy friends, P and I got up and headed to Goodwill.  I was told thrifting was a good place to find this season hot bow blouse tops, cute blazers and skirts.  I was only interested in the blouse.  So I went straight to the tops.  Within 2 mins I found this bad boy!

SCORE!  I could not believe it!  Now it has a few stains but I scrubbed it up pretty good.  But if you see any stains while I am wearing it just act like you didn't.

Then at the Swapanista event on the same day, this was is the swapping suite!  2 in one day!  Holla!  Because of the pattern it's hard to see the bow but you can kind of see it below.

I picked up this incredible vintage sequin top at the Swapanista event also.  I love sequins!  So I had to have this.  Just think, with some skinny black pants or dark jeans and some BAD shoes!  What!

What they say is true, what goes around comes back around!  I am looking forward to my future thrifting adventures.  I have not had any luck finding items for Peyton.  Where do you go for "Green" shopping or to find the best thrifting items?  Goodwill?  Salvation Army?
