Labor Day Style

I hope you all had a great, long Labor Day weekend!  I spent mine chillin, which I haven't done in a long time.  We even opted to order out on Monday instead of grilling.  I'm slowly cleaning out Peyton's closet getting rid of small clothes and getting her fall clothes organized.  I came across so many items that she did not wear this summer with tags.  I figured this would be the perfect weekend for Peyton to sport these cute navy gingham shorts I bought in May. SMH.

Mamanista Fridays: Gingham

Happy Mamanista Friday!  Friday couldn't come fast enough this week.  Not that I'm going to get any rest this weekend but it's good not to be locked in an office.  Mama Fashion Files and I are sporting casual looks this week featuring gingham.  

Lil Rock Star

I hope you all had a great weekend.  Today is Peyton's first day of pre-K!  I hope her day goes well.  A few of her close friends are in her class but she doesn't have a problem making new friends.  I may or may not have shed one thug tear when I dropped her off this morning.  They grow up too fast!  Speaking of growing up, check out this amazing fringe skirt from Posh Peyton that P is rocking.  I want one!  I know some of you are already SMHing, saying this skirt is too grown.  Relax, it's just fringe. A Little Lace

I hope you guys enjoyed your weekend.  A lot of kids in Georgia headed back to school today! It's so hard to believe school is already back in.  Peyton has one more week left. I would love to get her closet and room organized before she starts but I don't think that is gonna happen.  Hopefully I will get it done before the weather cools off.  I did list a few items of Peyton's on Poshmark for sell if you are interested.  I'm still finding clothes in Peyton's closet that she hasn't worn this summer, like these adorable little lace shorts. 

Mamanista Fridays: Lace Details

What a crazy week!  Guess who had a pink eye infection this week?  This girl.  My poor eye looked like it was about to fall out of my head.  That's why I'm wearing shades this week.  I'm not as cool as Aracely from Mama Fashion Files to rock shades with my outfits.  Glad to report that my eye is better now!

Jump Jump

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.  Ours was action packed (as usual).  Peyton had another professional photo shoot on Saturday and I thought it would be great idea to go to an MC Hammer concert outside that evening.  Between sweating and dancing, I was drained on Sunday.  One piece of clothing I wanted to wear this summer was a jumper.  Since I look more like Humpty Dumpty in a jumpsuit, I figure I'll just live through Peyton.

I'm so ready for the weekend.  The last couple of weeks have been crazy busy.  I plan to catch up on some rest and get back on my diet.  Enough of my whining.  This week, Mama Fashion Files and I are wearing vests.  I wore this outfit to the Beyonce and Jay Z concert in Atlanta on Tuesday.

Summertime LBD

Last night I went to the Beyonce and Jay Z concert.  It was more than I could have ever dreamed of!  I'll share more about the concert soon.  Right now I can barely keep my eyes open but I wanted to share a LBD (little black dress) I wore to the Adorn Media Group roof top launch party last Saturday.

Flipping Out

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Mister's big birthday party was awesome!  I can't wait to share details from the early 60's themed party.  Now that I have both Peyton's and Mister's birthdays behind me, I tried my best to chill out the rest of the weekend.  Peyton got a chance to wear her new flip-up shades from LoveMyAlannah.

I officially have a big girl on my hand.  My sweet baby doll, Peyton is 4 years old today *sheds one thug tear*.  If you want time to fly, have a baby!  Feels like I just brought her home from the hospital.

I can't believe the 4th of July is FRIDAY!  Ahhh!  Peyton's birthday party is this Sunday and I'm running around like a mad women!  I meant to post July 4th inspiration looks sooner but my crazy life got in the way.  I hope you are still inspired just the same.  I haven't even figured out what Peyton is going to wear for the 4th but these items are giving me some ideas!

Little Lady

The Beatles

I hope you all had a wonderful 1st weekend of summer!  Our summer is going to be pretty busy.  I have about 15 friends with birthdays to celebrate and that doesn't included Peyton and Misters.  Their birthdays are 5 days a part!  I'm going to be overwhelmed the next couple of weeks trying to get two parties together.
