If you follow me on Instagram, you would've gotten a sneak peek at what I wore to LuckyFabb in LA. Dressing for a conference can be a little stressful, especially a fashion conference. Instead of trying to do something crazy and out of the norm, I decided to wear something that would be comfortable and flattering with some super cute shoes.
Skirt, Topshop - Nordstrom (similar) | Custom tee, Bang On | Blazer (old), Arden B (similar) | Bag, 3.1 Phillip Lim | Shoes, Liliana (similar/similar)
I had a hard time finding a simple graphic tee so I decided to make one. A friend suggested I head to this store in Atlanta called Bang On. They can put anything on a shirt. It was pretty expensive but I got what I wanted. What do you think of my "I woke up like dis" tee?
I wanted to find the perfect shoe to wear with my skirt. I didn't have time to order online so I went to my "Shoe Guy". Yes, it's been a while since I paid him a visit. I neglected him for JustFab shoes. So I hit up the spot. The store was open but he was no where to be found. I looked around for a familiar face. I finally found one. I asked the sales lady what was going on. She regretfully informed me that my "Shoe Guy" sold the store! *Gasps* I was shocked. I felt like it was all my fault for neglecting the store. I roamed around the store like a lost dog and finally stumbled upon these fabulous lace up sandals. The "Shoe Guy" will always have a place in my heart!Even though my LuckyFabb shoe story was kind of sad, I had a great time at the conference. I got to see Nicole Richie, Eva Chen, Coca Rocha, and more. I also was in the company of some fabulous ladies, Mama Fashion Files and Style and Beauty Doctor. We had a ball shopping and eating, and shopping again. My bag ended up being 18 pounds overweight even after I added a 3rd bag! But I managed to make it home with all my fabulous finds and swag. Have you ever attended a blog conference? What is your conference style?
