I would say last year was a pretty good year of style for me.  As I look back at the pictures not many of them make me cringe and say "What was I thinking".  I tried some new looks but stayed true to my style and what looked good on me.

Write Chicago Teen Workshop by Urban Shake

Next Sunday, January 5th, Urban Shake will host Write Chicago, a "sicker than your average" writing workshop for teens in my hometown of Chicago!  I would have loved to attend a fun writing event like this when I was a teen.  I'm my thirties and still trying to learn how to write.  Write Chicago is a FREE event!  Perfect place for teens to explore creative writing for self-expression in music, mass media and more.

Happy New Year!

I am thankful to see another year!  We rang in the New Year at church with Peyton.  I really didn't feel like going to church but what better way to end the year and bring in the new.  I thought Peyton would fall asleep at church before midnight... WRONG!  That sister stayed up until after midnight!  It felt like it was one of the longest church services of my life!  But I am happy because I got to bring in the New Year with Mister and Peyton.

I am very excited about this year!  With the New Year comes change!  The blog will be getting a much needed makeover!  I plan on working bootleg photography skills to bring you guys better pictures.  I also would like to add some new features to the blog that will allow others to participate.  I would appreciate if you would take this 2 question survey below.  I want to get a feel of what you guys would like to see more of this year.

Happy New Year + Peyton's 2012 Fashions

Happy New Year!  *Raises glass*.  I thank God for another year!  I am very excited for 2013!  Something about the beginning of the year makes you feel like you get a new start!  

I shared some of my favorite outfits from 2012 with you last week (HERE).  Here are my fave looks from Peyton in 2012!  My baby is growing too fast!

Boy does time fly!  Can't believe we are headed into 2013!  I want to thank you guys for all your support throughout the year!  I am sure 2013 will rock as well!  I thought I would be cool to go through some old post and pick out some of my favorite outfits that I wore last year.  I had a few "Why did I wear that" but for the most part I think I kept it together!

2011 was my first full year of being a Mother!  I guess I did OK because she is still walking and talking!  I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! So happy to have connected with my bloggy friends during this year!  I pray that you have a blessed 2012!

Instead of making a resolutions I am making goals!  Here are a few of my personal goals.

• Work more with Non- Profits that help the kids
• Buy thing with cash only!
• Work out at least 3 times a week
• Learn to braid Peyton's hair
• Take a vacation with Mister and Peyton. Way overdue!
• I would say lose weight but that is a never ending battle.
