10 Looks to Recreate for Thanksgiving

One of the hardest things to do around the holidays is figuring out what to wear.  I picked out some of my favorite outfits that we all can wear from some of my favorite bloggers.  All these looks are chic and comfortable.   

Fall Florals

If you were waiting for it or not, fall is in full swing.  Recently, I've been participating in a heated fashion debate at work.  Because Atlanta is still pretty warm, high 60's, the question is do you dress for the weather or the season?  Being the fashion girl that I am and I love fall fashion, I always say dress season appropriate.  I'm not saying if it hits 70 degrees you have to wear a sweater or wool coat but it's time to put up those summer dresses, booty shorts and linen pants away.  It pains me to see someone wearing Easter colors in the fall if it isn't a sweater or a coat.  There are several ways you can dress for the weather and still be season appropriate.  I found the perfect fall floral peasant top for the season.

Saturday, I attended the Honda Battle of the Bands presented by Verizon!  I went to a state university up north so I never experienced bands that make you dance (hehe)!  Even thought I may have been old enough to be some of the kids in the band mom, I didn't want to look like it! LOL!  I broke out my new utility jacket I got before Christmas.

Happy 2013!

Happy New Year!

I am thankful to see another year!  We rang in the New Year at church with Peyton.  I really didn't feel like going to church but what better way to end the year and bring in the new.  I thought Peyton would fall asleep at church before midnight... WRONG!  That sister stayed up until after midnight!  It felt like it was one of the longest church services of my life!  But I am happy because I got to bring in the New Year with Mister and Peyton.

I am very excited about this year!  With the New Year comes change!  The blog will be getting a much needed makeover!  I plan on working bootleg photography skills to bring you guys better pictures.  I also would like to add some new features to the blog that will allow others to participate.  I would appreciate if you would take this 2 question survey below.  I want to get a feel of what you guys would like to see more of this year.

Happy Friday!!!  I totally jumped on the Camo train!  When my girl Tasha, owner of Imperfect Concepts, started selling them I knew I had to have one.  I found my self getting sad every time some one instagramed their fabulous jacket from her boutique.  So I did it!

Fashion Question Friday: Party Baby Boy

One of my bloggy girlfriends Alicia from Shaken Not Blurred had a question about what her 5 month old baby should wear to a birthday party.  

I suggested an outfit with layers.  Layers work great for two reasons.  One, because you may not know the enviorment, it could change from cold to hot.  Two, baby could have a blowout!  If baby has on a one piece suit then the whole outfit is ruined!  You can just switch out the pants.

This is Baby O's party look!  I just want to nibble on those cheeks!  Love it.  Mommy and I talked about the look the night before the party so she worked with what she had but mom did use layers.  Baby O looks so handsome and ready to party!
