If you've ever hosted guests at your house for Christmas it may not be the most wonderful time of year for you. You have to clean up, re-decorate, cook, and be the hostess with the mostess. We would love for everyone to stay in one place but that is not always possible. It's OK to suggest a hotel that will make your guests feel at home. Personally, I prefer to stay in a hotel versus sleeping on a floor in a packed house. Hampton Hotels would like for you to experience their Hamptonality this holiday season. Hamptonality by Hampton Hotels, is all about celebrating the little moments that make a big difference.
Holiday Hosting Tips by Hampton
Tip 1: Be the best OFF-SITE host ever… - If you simply don’t have enough room to host all of your holiday guests or you just think everyone would be happier with their own, comfortable space, consider booking them at your local Hampton.
Tip 2: Surprise your guests with welcome treats - Surprise them with a little treat when they arrive.
Tip 3: Be prepared with lots of snacks - We all get a little grouchy when we're hungry - adults and kids alike! Anticipate those moments by having snacks planned for afternoons and before dinner.
Tip 4: Post the plan - Post a schedule for everyone to see so they'll know what to expect during their stay.
Tip 5: Make time for resting - Make sure to schedule down time for resting in the afternoons or early evenings.
Tip 6: Plan one special night for the adults - The holidays are really all about the kids, but it can be really nice for the adults to get some time for themselves, too.
Tip 7: Make your home "help yourself" friendly - Set up a refreshment center and make a few sets of spare keys, so that people can easily come and go as they please. Basically, be their “at home” concierge.
Tip 8: Prepare! - Do as much preparation in advance as you can. Plan menus around recipes that can be made ahead of time - freezer-friendly, one-dish meals like lasagna or stew.

Make the guests feel like they are apart of your home even though they are in a hotel. Also have a van or car service for transportation to your house so they won't feel like they have to drive all the time to and from your house.
