Happy September and Happy late Labor Day! This post is coming to you from NYC! Yes, I am back in New York City! Thanks to my girl Tamara from Blitz and Glam! She invited me to join her for a special project she is doing with the NFL! So proud of Tamara! And it just so happens to be New York Fashion week! You know I had to come! Even though I dreaded leaving my baby doll, Mister thought it would be a good idea for me to come since it was during fashion week. This weekend was full of hugs and kisses with my love bug Peyton!
Peyton killed it in her chambray shirt from Target. This skirt is from an Etsy shop we got last fall, I can not remember the name. I also forgot where the headband came from as well. I know I suk! Shoes are from Payless.
I won Peyton's necklace from a PJ Tuttles giveaway.
This chambray shirt is one of my favorite pieces in Peyton's closet. Do you have a Chambray top yet? She looks like such a big girl! Boy do I miss her! This will be the last time I leave my baby for a while. How do you moms that travel for work cope with leaving your kids?
At first, when I became a new mom, It was so hard to leave her and go to work. After, a year of the constant pull to be home, I stopped working outside the home (one of the best decisions I have made). Everyone has to do what is best for them. My daughter is 9 and she doesn't't need me as much as she once did. Believe me, it may be hard to leave the "lil one" at first but we all need a welcomed break from "Mommyhood" from time to time. For the past three summer's, I let my daughter spend two months out of town with her grandparents (she loves it) and that gives my husband and I a chance to reconnect and focus on us as individuals. :)
ReplyDeletePeyton is working it! Love her outfit. Madison needs that top in her closet. I have one and it's certainly a must-have staple in any girls closet. Have fun in NYC!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit on your baby girl!
ReplyDeleteThese days I see them so much that I welcome the break when I have to travel. With my first one, I was so miserable when I left him. I kept pics of him in the glove compartment, on my desk, in my purse... everywhere! I still miss them when I travel, but I have a pic of the whole family on my business card, so I see them all the time!
I love her skirt! And I love how she poses!
ReplyDeleteyou lucky girl!! Have so much fun
ReplyDeleteI know you had a blast in NYC. And my two fav pieces in Miss P...the headband and the skirt and you DON'T recall!?! Ohhhh, Trina, girl....lol.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Peyton is the cutest! xo
