Peyton Weekend Style

We were forced into hibernation this week due to the snow storm that hit the ATL.  Saturday we finally go out and Peyton sported some of her cold weather gear.

Peyton is wearing a Navy nautical pea coat from Old Navy, it was a gift for Christmas but I was told it was on sale for 10 bucks. The beanie hat is from Janie and Jack, it was originally $25 but we got it on sale for $12. Luv Janie & Jack!  The long sleeve bodysuit was $2.50 from Walmart. 

Kate Beckinsales has said she wears her kids hats.  I luv her style! and that bag!

 Sunday we got out for a little retail therapy since we were in the house all week.

Peyton rocked a pink shirt with hearts from Target' that was $2.80 with her Old Navy skinny jeans $10 and her fUggs that were $6 from Burlington. The 70's inspired headband is from Nordstroms it was about $10, but oh so cute!



I think the headband makes this outfit.  I luv accessories!  Rihanna is sporting hers with a short do also.

Mamanista Hearts Lush

I am a big fan of Lush cosmetics!  I have been using it for about 2years.  Now they sell it in Macy's and stores are popping up.  I am not being paid nor have they given me free products (maybe one day : ), this is just my opinion and experience.

My first and a MUST is the Buffy, it's a vegan product made of shea butter and ground rice and some other good stuff. 

Since becoming a mom its all about convenience.  This is a scrub bar you use in the shower on wet skin.  It exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time.  Then guess what!  You do NOT need to use lotion!  You know how long it takes me to grease up after I get out of the shower??? This has shaved 10 minutes off my morning routine.  It comes in two sizes the small is $11.95 and large is $22.95.  I always get the small because it is easier to store.

Next is the Therapy Massage Bar.  Its organic and provides intense moisture.  I was sold on this product when the sales person told me it was good for stretch marks... SOLD!  I started out using this on my stomach when I was pregnant.  I wish I would have used it all the way through but I was too tired to head to the store when I ran out. This is used after the shower and its $9.95.

Money Aint a Thang!

We made it thru the holidays... now its time to start thinking about V-day.  I am not big on this holiday, but since I have a baby girl I am going to try and celebrate a little.  So I thought it would be cute to put her in a red dress.  Do you like this one?

Nice and simple.... Well its made by D&G and is $510!  I guess it was meant to be worn during the upcoming award season.

These week check out Sahara!

This little diva is almost 4 years old and lives in the Windy City.  She is giving it to us wearing gray skinny jeans $24, a hot pink cardigan $8, and brown leather boots $34 all from Baby Gap.  Sahara pulls it together with a gray and pink scraf $11 from a kids boutique.
 

As you can see Jennifer Anniston can't get enough of her scarf!

I cannot believe it has been 6 months already! My doll is growing up!

Spanx Haters

Ok, raise you hand if you heart Spanx!  Exactly!  What would we do with out them???  I would have serious muffin tops and could not wear half my clothes.  They allow us to put on jeans, or even wear a belt....

There are some haters out there.  I just read this article on MSN saying that Spanx is getting flack from the Power Momma Spanx trying to say that even if you pregnant you should try to look skinny.... umm...yeah. When I was preggers I ordered some of these right away!  I loved them!  They helped my back and my behind.  I didn't always want to wear a mu mu.  These allowed me to wear different outfits.  Check me out at my baby shower and I got my spanx on.

That's me in a tight dress and Mister (isn't he cute :)  See how big I was and I had another month to go.  Thank God for Spanx!

Peyton Weekend Style

P and I had to take an unexpected trip to Chicago this past week.  While it was so so cold, Peyton managed  sneak in a few looks.

She is wearing a black and white polka dot shirt, with black vest.  Not sure how much this was because it was a gift.  The top did come with black leggings but P is pretty big and could not fit them.  So she wore this top with some jeggings that I purchased from Walmart for $3.50! And she finished the look with her black cowboy boots.

 This is the dress I scored at BRU for $5! The pink turtle neck was $2 at Target.  Tights were $3 from Target. And of course her black cowboy boots.  I swear she is getting her money worth out of them.

It can get tricky when trying to pull off a leather dress.  Kate Moss is doing it just right!
